Size:400g Capacity, 0.01g Readability The Scientech SL single range precision balance has a large LCD screen for clear readings and a stainless steel, corrosion-resistant weighing pan. The external calibration system automatically adjusts the balance when used with a calibration mass (not included) to ensure accurate measurements. The bi-directional, rear-facing RS232 port is positioned for easy connection to a printer or computer, and built-in functions enable work in compliance with GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) traceability requirements, as well as testing for ISO calibration compliance.The balance weighs in five common weighing units and tares over the entire weighing range. Applications include parts counting, check weighing, percent weighing, and live animal weighing, and the below-balance weighing hook enables specific gravity determination. Three selectable settings adjust the sensitivity of the balance to compensate for excessive vibration, and a stability indicator confirms that readings are valid. The solid die-cast metal housing protects the internal weighing cell from environmental influences, and a labyrinth seal under the stainless steel weighing pan creates a complicated barrier for liquids to pass through, preventing damage from spills from occurring while keeping contaminants from entering. The integrated security bracket can accommodate cables and locks to protect the balance from theft.
