It worked as soon as I took it out of the box I like the the LED light is very nice and I plan to use it needed all the time

Works very well as I would expect that it would plenty of light nice magnification happy

I use for electronic component value reading. I wish the light intensity were maybe 25% more on each of its type settings for this purpose.I also wish it had a time-out feature as it is often necessary to set this down dozens of times while organizing work it is needed for. It would benefit greatly from some kind of lock-out switch so it could be carried in my tool bag without concern for running the battery dead. The thumb switch is super easy to engage, so an additional, harder to reach master on-off would be a great feature.It is a well built tool, with a solid lens release mechanism for using other lenses, a nice surprise.

The different lights help with seeing smaller and smaller print.

I like the fact that this has options for different settings of light, yet there is a somewhat glare when using it.I also like the fact that you can remove a lens and have two different strengths.The problem I had was getting the cheap plastic ring off to do this and then getting it all back together as its flimsy plastic rings that hold the inner lenses in.Also, it does turn light on and off easily since fingers touch the holding area where light button is, so that's a bad design aspect.What I like is that it does work well for seeing up close and it's not a cheap plastic like view that's blurred.I also like the fact that I can keep it on my bedside table and have a bright flashlight and seeing area if needed!So, I'm gonna keep this one even though it could be better designed.A side note... the box was totally crushed as they put it in a non bubble plastic bag to send!Glad mine wasn't destroyed like the package and box were! ugh!Would not be able to gift it in that condition! Should be sent in a box not a bag!Update... This has turned out to be a pain! Everything it touches or bumps turns stuff on off.I don't recommend at all.

While reading, my mom 91-year-old Mom needs additional magnification beyond what her prescription eyeglasses provide for her. Not all magnifying glasses are beneficial to her but, this particular one is just what she needed. The addition of the light is a great bonus feature that increases her ability to read the fine print on her prescription medication bottle instructions, etc. The size, weight, and handle are a perfect fit for her arthritic hands to hold while reading her Bible study devotionals each day! Thanks for a great product!

I'm 55 and have the start of macular degeneraation so looking at small things such as cross stitch or the diamond painting with a regular magnifying glass makes things a little difficult and distorted to say the least. I found this at a rating of five stars and looked at the reviews and thought why not! I'll try anything at this point. My package arrived while i was at work and i could not wait to try it! OMG!! I'm impressed and for the price to!! It definitely gives me a broader range than a regular magnifyer and the light even helps as well!! This helps me so much right now with my diamond paintings and i can work a little faster than with the regular magnifyer! No distortion like the cheap ones do! This was definitely worth every penny. The downside is you have to hold it while doing your work, so i will be looking into a floor stand with the same magnification if i can, but still......I CAN READ!! My husband was even impressed with the smaller magnifyer on it and how detailed it could get. Fast shipping! Thank you!!!

Does not magnify as much as the 4X we have but with the light Dad is happy with it.

Used others glass reading magnifications with led lights top of handle - poor design and not ideal - as the lights are at the bottom of glass which get covered by fingers while holding it on the handle ?? also poor magnification quality - !!WHILE THIS ONE TICKS ALL BOXES - QUALITY 10x MAGNIFICATIONS, PERFECT HANDE, GOOD BRIGHT LED BULBS ALL AROUND THE GLASS EDGES AND IT ALSO COME WITH BUTTON FOR THREE LIGHTS TONE EFECT - ITS SIMPLY ONE OF THE VERY BEST IN MY VIEW . Ich brauchte eine Lupe zur Vergrößerung von Details in Kunst- und Bildbänden. Besonders wichtig war mir eine große Lupenfläche bei gleichzeitig geringem Gewicht. Bei dieser Lupe hier ist das der Fall. Sie lässt sich unkompliziert handhaben, und man muss nicht ständig den richtigen Winkel finden, um ein scharfes Bild zu erhalten. Die Lupe liegt auch gut in der Hand. Hinzu kommt die Beleuchtungsfunktion, die ich aber noch nicht gebraucht habe. Fazit: Ein rundum gelungenes Stück zum sehr günstigen Preis.
