Is this insulated? can i run a engine on the left track without the engine on the right track moving (with a dc controller)

I have dcc, but if you expand the picture of the track, they seem to be eletrically isolated. Also, there is a ground pin that can be disconnected for each switch controller.

I bought a Bachmann DCC set. Thought I'd add 2 crossovers when I add an interior loop. A Bachmann Tech said there'd be assignment problems. Had any?

If your purchased 2 crossovers then you would need to set each crossover to a different i.d.

What is the length of the crossover? Is the left and right crossover the same length?

The crossover works great I have 4 of them.But I do not Know if it works with your system.If it is dcc operation it should work.I have a an MRC Advance Elite.
