Medium To Candelabra Base Light Bulb Socket Adapter / E26 to E12 by DWW

I had a lamp I wanted to use a night light bulb in instead of a full-size bulb. This convert works perfectly and fit both the lamp socket and the bulb well.

Bought a Hue Candelabra light for my fishing float in my tiki room only to find it was a E12 and wouldn’t fit. Was about to return then stumbled across this adapter. Works like a charm! Happy that I can use the official Hue bulb now.

Works as expected; I can adapt larger base (e26) bulbs into a candelabra wall fixture. Note your insurance company may take a dim view on all lightbulb adapters, so be smart how you use this (I wouldn't use this to power high-wattage bulbs). In my case I used it to install lower-wattage LED light bulbs, without having to replace the fixture (or buy candelabra LED bulbs that I really did not like). Be aware this adds length to the bulb so a large bulb may stick out of some fixtures.

I was completely unaware that this type of adapter was even available until I had an existing smart bulb that has a candelabra base in lieu of an E26 base. We have the special bulb in a table lamp until our cat knocked it off the table and shattered the glass shade. I was able to salvage the expensive smart bulb from the rubble and started looking for a replacement. I guess I was unaware how difficult it would be to find a suitable replacement. Whenever I found the lamp with the look I was trying to achieve, it had a standard socket instead of the E12 that I needed. I searched for an adapter and voila, this one popped up at reasonable cost. Now I have the best of both worlds. The lamp and the bulb.

My candelara LED light bulbs fit perfectly into the adapter and it fit perfectly into my standard base lamp. Now I can use a very low watt bulb in my lamp as desired. Had the bulbs- wanted to use them. Good product.

Very basic but functional unit. Performed as expected. Easy to use install and use; arrived very quickly from the supplier when ordered. One caution before ordering, be sure the lighting fixture you are outfitting provides enough clearance within, to receive a regular-sized lightbulb or LED. Many are designed to received only the candelabra-sized bulbs.

This thing is genius. I have a small lamp in the hallway that just needed a tiny bit of a glow; even a 25 watt bulb was too much. Didn't even know they made such a thing but was wracking my brain on what I could do. So thankful I found these, and the price was right! As one reviewer mentioned, she also used a night light bulb in her table lamp. She's right, the tiny little bulb wants to sit a tad crooked in it, and because I'm always adjusting the "lean" of the clip on shade sitting down on the base now, the bulb wants to go out. No biggie; I still love it!
