Mermaid Tarot

I love this deck. 10/10 stars. I have been on the hunt for a mermaid related tarot and there aren't a lot out there. That alone makes this deck worth it, then it is also beginner friendly, and then the art is beautiful, the book is very descriptive and helpful, it does not disappoint. Its not a pamphlet or a deck sized, cheap paper book. It comes with a gorgeous, very solid, high quality book, every page is vibrant and feels nice. Its not a pamphlet or a deck sized, cheap paper book. I also appreciate the tone of the deck, if that makes sense. Overall it is a positive, caring deck. I appreciate that. The only thing I could think you might want to consider is that the paper for the cards themselves is a little thin, its not bad quality, they are more bendy than some decks you may be used to, that maybe are a thicker card stock. I personally see no issues with that, its easier to shuffle. Some people may though have a preference or claim its flimsy. Love it, still, 10/10 stars. Just stunning. Comes in a gorgeous sturdy box for storage, no bag included. The cards are pieces of art. I’m going to get a second set to frame for wall art. The artful cards contain all the information you need to read your spread. There is a very nice book that comes w/ it as well. It’s a very sturdy paperback that gives full depth details about each card, suit, and arcana. The book, @ 5x7 includes lovely pictures of each card with a summary of information about each card. Easy to follow, learned even more about each meaning behind placement and objects within the cards to expand my reading ability. Perfect for the cancer or other water/sea sign in your life. A great gift, too!

This is a gorgeous tarot deck. Every illustration is beautifully drawn and rich with symbolism and meaning. The artistry and the writing are carefully and thoughtfully executed; a tarot masterpiece. It follows the standard 4 suit Minor Arcana (cups, wands, pentacles, and swords) with the standard 22 Major Arcana (The Fool through The World), but the author's interpretations of the numerology and symbology is a refreshing variation from the typical Rider-Waite-Smith interpretations - congruent with modern practice, but with intriguing twists. The accompanying manual is a 5-1/4 x 8 inches (13 x 20 cm), 274 page book. each card has a full-page color illustration with a storyline and interpretation for upright and reversed meanings. The card thickness is typical for decks published by Llewellyn - much like playing cards they are easy to riffle but strong enough not to warp with every shuffle. The printing is very good quality. All in all a very enjoyable deck to use. To all my fellow sailors, divers, and mermaids - this deck is definitely for you.

Amazingly beautiful and special deck. I'm a Pisces, water baby who loves, loves, loves mermaids and all things water and ocean. This deck was perfect for me. I pre ordered and the deck and it actually came earlier than expected. This deck has the same, sturdy, large magnetic box style and very thin cards as the everyday witch tarot and green witch tarot, etc. So if you are familiar with those decks you know the cards are thin, but they are so beautiful and prefect size so it is ok. The guidebook, although beautiful, full color and large, doesn't give too much on the card meanings. Just enough for someone who doesn't know tarot well to still understand. It's beautiful and great quality though. I'm a collector of books of all kinds and decks, so these will be an amazing addition to my collection. I didn't love a few cards at first, but they grew on me quickly and are still nice. The death card I believe it is really hit me hard. It is a picture of a seal, sea turtle and bird coated in oil from an oil spill and a row boat with a person, trying to rescue them as well as mermaids helping below the surface. This card really got to me at first and made me very sad. I didn't like it...but after thinking about it, the card represents new beginnings. It just struck me at first, but now I do like it. I LOVE the strength card!!! There are so many beautiful cards in this deck. I absolutely recommend this deck to anyone who loves mermaids or the ocean and magical, colorful, fun decks. It was well worth the wait!

I’ve been reading tarot for about a year and a half now, sticking to traditional decks. I’ve been infatuated with mermaid all my water sign life. I asked myself “is there a mermaid tarot deck?” When I learned not only traditional cards exist. And low and behold! When I finally could afford it, it was a dream come true. All the cards beautifully represent the raider white versions to the TEA. It comes in beautiful packaging, and a sturdy guide in color. Which teaches you how to read tarot, a bit about the author, the merfolk. It gives you spread ideas and tips and ofc interpretations of all the cards and reversals. Reading with it feels so natural. And the cards feel and shuffle pretty nicely.

This deck is so amazing! I was surprised at how big the box was when it arrived, and opening it up it was so unique in its packaging, it’s so worth the price! The guide book is literally like a full sized book and the descriptions of each cards meaning give such an authentic look at what we all come to know the cards to symbolize. The artwork is amazingly beautiful and I just absolutely love this deck! Cards are glossy and are very easy to shuffle, good size for even smaller hands but my hands are big so I can fit the whole deck in them. Great deck!

I love the art on these cards. It's beautiful and I really connected with it immediately. I like the card stock personally. I find it easy to shuffle. My issue with this product is the (very pretty) guidebook. It's big, it's colorful, and...it's not helpful. It really doesn't describe the correct meanings of each card but rather tells a story about a character that might relate to one aspect of the card. I'll still use the deck because I love it and I know the meaning of the cards well enough to go without the guidebook.

I love this deck. It really speaks to my Piscean soul. The artwork is beautiful, captivating and touches my heart, leading to very clear, deep, emotionally evocative readings that both heal and inspire. My only criticism is the quality of the cards -- I wish they were a bit larger with thicker card stock. And the images on the cards, compared to the same card image in the guidebook, can sometimes seem duller, less vibrant, darker or murkier. The guidebook is lovely, with detailed text and colored images (greatly superior to what is provided in most deck LWBs - little white books), but I wish the same care and attention had been given to the printing of the artwork on the actual cards. Perhaps if there is a 2nd edition, some printing and card size/stock changes could be made?

Eu fiquei muito feliz quando recebi esse tarot! A caixa já é linda por conta própria! Gostei muito de ter uma caixa durinha para guardar, pois é nela que mantenho o deck e o livro. As cartas são lindas, beem coloridas, redondinhas nas bordas e fáceis de embaralhar. O livro é o melhor que já tive até agora! Super completo, direto ao ponto e ainda tem todas as cartas impressas em uma folha completa em cores. Facilita muito o estudo. Não achei esse deck difícil de ler, mesmo que a significação tome um rumo um pouco diferente do Rider- Waite. Não chega a ter significados totalmente novos nas cartas, mas tem camadas de interpretação um pouco diferentes. Gosto muito da storyline que acompanha os arcanos maiores, a corte e os naipes. É tudo muito bonito e elemental.

Love these cards!! The box was a bit bashed but the cards and book are amazing!! The magnetic box is something in particular that gave it the thumbs up as a tarot reader myself I can't stand not having anywhere to store my cards properly. The cards don't slip down into the cardboard holder as with some other decks with this style of packaging.. The cards although the card stock could be better in my opinion are stunning!! And the book well the book is a treat all on its own! This is just a magical deck for me to add to my collection as it really drew me in with its beautiful imagery.. The cards are very intuitive themselves I can't stop looking at them 😍 so pleased.

The mermaid tarot deck is just gorgeous. Bright vivid colours and imagery fill each card. The card stock is not too bad, and the guide book is bursting with colour abs vivid imagery. What a fabulous tarot deck. Well worth the money and I can’t wait to start using them.

I never felt one with Rider Waite. For me, this deck is it! Also if you vibe with Aphrodite or you love the ocean, get this!
