"Honey" is the highly anticipated 6th studio album from "The Fairy Godmother of Pop" (Billboard) - the 5x Grammy winning Swedish popstar Robyn (her first album as a solo artist in 8 years!). First single "Missing U" was received to positive fan & critical reception, trending worldwide on Twitter and receiving press coverage from Pitchfork (Best New Track), VOGUE, Noisey, Billboard, Fader, EW, Rolling Stone & more - CD Softpak includes double-sided poster folder. Review: Perfect - Great condition and quality. 10/10 album, too! Review: A Solid Album - As a fan of Robyn's soulful early work, and especially her self titled ROBYN album (perfection start to finish), this album not only captures what we expect from Robyn (who can create perfect pop confection), she also shows up as a nostalgic 80's reminiscer–first channeling Janet Jackson (It's in the Music) and later incorporates welcome homages to Lil Louis's French Kiss (Send it to Robyn Immediately) and some Basement Boys/Crystal Waters (Between the Lines). The album is introspective not only about love and relationships in its themes (as in Missing You or Ever Again), but also feels reflective in it's use of sound memories, capturing the singularly personal longing for the younger days of self.

A Solid Album

Its a whole album of inuendo
I love the hell out of this album, but it's a little more graphic than her previous albums... she for sure was horny when she was writing this album, and I'm here for every minute of it.

Come get your Honey!
Jeez... for $24, I expected it to come on colored vinyl or something. But nope, regular ol' black wax, albeit 180g like most modern pressings. Comes in a seemingly unnecessary and somewhat poorly-constructed dual-pocketed gatefold which constantly tries to bow open. Album sleeve contains lyrics on one side and a nice photo on the other. The other pocket contains a haphazardly-folded mini-poster that contains production credits, which could've been printed on the inside of the gatefold or on the other side of the sleeve (instead of the photo.) Whoever managed this project is fired, especially the print producer. That being said, this is a *really* solid album, and I'm not even a hardcore Robyn fan. Compared to the bombast of 'Body Talk' and 'Robyn,' 'Honey' is a relatively laid back and intimate album that's perfect for vinyl. Moments of greatness include the stellar one-two punch of "Baby Forgive Me" and "Send to Robyn Immediately" as well as "Between the Lines" and "Because it's in the Music." It's a respectable feat to put out a 9-track album that can be listened to all the way through without even an itch to skip a song. Looking forward to seeing her in concert in July.

Robyn does not disappoint
A little more low-key than some of her previous offerings, but nonetheless a good album! Please don't pay attention to the lug-heads who gave really low ratings...they just don't "get" what Robyn is doing. Enjoy this music!

Entlich wieder was neues von Robyn !

This slipped under the radar for many 'best of 2018' listmakers but provides consistent, enjoyable listening from start to end. No dumb stuff here, all smart and high quality.
