Croma 220 Showerpipe

Most shower systems with a fixed overhead, a handheld and a thermostatic control valve require extensive piping inside the wall and lots of expensive separate components. The Croma unit has everything included and all is located on the outside of the wall which makes it easy to install and maintain. The unit even includes ball valves in the 2 inlet lines which can be turned off without taking anything apart. The thermostatic control works well keeping the water temperature steady regardless of pressure and temperature in the hot and cold supply (No more scalding when someone flushes the toilet). The riser pipe for the "rainfall" head doubles as the adjustable slide bar for the handheld for a really clean installation. Most of the unit is chrome plated brass with a few chrome plated plastic trim pieces. Past experience with Hansgrohe products suggests the unit will hold up very well cosmetically over time. Priced under $400 this is a very high quality functional unit for a guestroom shower.

Easy to install and works great. Be careful drilling the holes in the tile but it is easy to do with the right drill bit. The install instructions are great and it is nice that most of the fittings are outside the wall. The only downside is the angle of the portable sprayer can't be adjusted when it's in the holder. Some pictures showed that it was adjustable but it's not a big deal for us. The water mixer is also easily adjustable per the instructions. Definitely a quality item!

Hans grohe is simply the best manufacturer of faucets european showers and kitchen plumbing. They last, as beautiful as new.

The fit and finish of the shower is great. Our only complaint initially was that we couldn't get the water tempurature warmer then 94.7 degrees F. I ended up calling Hansgrohe USA and the gentleman I spoke quickly identified the problem and sent a new Tempurature cartridge out. Once installed the shower works perfectly..

Exceeded my expectations (which is hard to do). We hardly ever adjust the temperature; we only whether the water is routed to the wand or the showerhead. The volume of water is great. I looked at many different shower panels/systems. Many of them had multiple showerheads. My thinking was if you have 2.5 gpm of water, you will get a better massage with that volume coming out of one head (in the case of this handshower) or having that 2.5 gpm spread across multiple heads. It looks great and performs great.

Great unit at a great price. Just had our bathroom remodeled. Our plumber installed this unit. He said that he felt that it was a quality product.

These are excellent shower faucets and shower heads. We like how the temperature adjusts separately from the pressure. It is easy to use less water. Our order arrived in great shape on time.
