These are great workbooks! I use them as review with my kids over the summer to keep their minds fresh in the skills they practiced all year. I have also used them throughout the school year for extra practice in particular skills in which my kids may be struggling.

Good for practicing. It does give examples. Your child will likely still need your assistance or a YouTube video but a good book for staying on track.

A great addition to our homeschooling. I really like this spectrum book! It's has great explanations and exercises to help your student learn to write better. It's fun and not too overwhelming as its goes slowly and reinforces learning. I've included pictures of a few pages so you can see the kind of stuff it contains. It's a great resource for my struggling writer and he really does enjoy the book.

Haven't used this yet but I love the spectrum series as supplements in my classroom. It does have lessons and worksheets based off each type of writing style. Breaks them down into more manageable sections.
