2018 Ram 2500 6.7 Cummins - This filter worked for me.
I bought the filter from Amazon and not a 3rd party seller. The filter was sealed in plastic and the box was not damaged. The box had a manufacturer date from 2023. I decided to give it a try. I noticed the interior micron filter was white and not green like my previous ones. It looked to be a real product and not a knock off. I had no issues installing the filter. I primed the truck a few times (pressed the start button to ACC and let the fuel pump run for 15 seconds - then turn off) and it started right up after that. I replaced the water separator (rear filter) first. Ran the truck for a few minutes and then replaced the fuel filter. This approach worked better for starting the truck. I drove a few miles and the truck ran fine. I will buy again.

Tested and it is authentic Mopar filter
Some of the reviews claimed this filter was a counterfeit. I researched it on YouTube, it seemed authentic to me. I took it to the Ram dealer I go to and they were happy to compare the OEM Mopar they sell with this one. It checked it out in every respect no longer a question it is an original Mopar filter. The Ram parts dept was happy to help and even applauded me for saving a ton of cash.

Excellent price & performance
Saved $100 versus local auto parts store. My 2020 Ram 2500 DOES NOT tolerate aftermarket fuel filters. I’ve tried 3 times. Mopar only from now on.

OEM Mopar Fuel Filter
Excellent price compared to what this OEM fuel filter would cost at dealership. This is the one located next to the engine. Pretty easy to do using a 12" long socket extension and a 28mm or 1 1/8" socket. Tip: The too short drain tube on the bottom of the fuel filter housing on your Ram dumps the diesel fuel directly onto your front axle area. The little extension I made in the picture helps extend the drain tube so the diesel doesn't make a mess, so it will flow into your bucket/pan. That's a poly pipe barbed fitting and about 9" of 1/2" clear poly tubing. Sand the barbs down a bit to make it easier connecting to the existing drain tube. Only complaint. The supplier ships in a bag with zero protection. The box was thrashed. But the filter looks OK.
