Child Deluxe Samurai Costume

This is a great costume, very detailed it looks realistic. There are a few things to do when you get the costume, the costume, of course, is folded to fit into the box and into the packaging so I strongly recommend getting a small ball from the dollar general or something and putting the mask and hat on that to help reform to the shape of a head, the mask is big for a child.. but after watching a few movies, I do believe the mask are big for adults as well like adults, so it’s true to the custom I believe? So I bought the costume bigger hoping my son could grow into it. Unfortunately, he won’t be able to grow to much more before he won’t be able to wear it. I think we could make some adjustments so that he could for a little bit longer. And then my son is very small for his age and he fit a medium and it looks perfect and he’s able to tuck in the top like you’re supposed to barely. We are also going to add I believe Velcro strip for the hat, so that it stays on properly and another Velcro strap for the bottom of the back, just so that it stays on properly, tucking in, seems to work for the most part, but as he grows bigger, that will need to be there. The costume is great, and the little fixes that I want to make for adjustments or just extra fixes that will help it fit better for my son while he plays in it and grows. The costume was very easy to put on very easy to understand, and he fit it very well. Like I said, order bigger at least by a size he should fit a small easily and probably would have but it would’ve been a stretch and he fits the medium incredibly well. I was hoping it would be a little bigger so that he could grow into it more. But the costume was very detailed. It looks incredibly realistic and otherwise came completely intact. The delivery guy was really awesome and could see my sons excitement and then handed over the box and it was an Amazon delivery vehicle so it was great. The gentleman that delivered It was really really nice. I should say he was fantastic. It was completely obvious that my son was over the moon about the package and the gentleman was incredibly kind. Very nice in handing it to him and super nice. Overall, I was incredibly pleased with the costume and my son was excited and very happy with it. He’s a little frustrated with the mask and the hat but again we’re going to put it on a ball to help get it to face shape. Popping the seams in the hat did help a little bit with making it balance a little better, so put your hand up into the hat and make sure the seams are popped out so that you can see them. Otherwise you might not realize it needs that to help fit on there heads. Hope this helped

Good and it came right on time!! Everything looked perfect and not cheap or cheesy my son loved it

It is a good costume. It doesn't come with the swords but that's fine since we already have a ton of those. Our son is 13, almost 14, and wears a size 12. It was a little snug on his legs but overall fit great. (He is smaller then the "average" 13 year old, so if you have a "typical" 13 year old I would order a size up.) Nice detail, good fabric and colors. Our son loved it and wore it almost all weekend for our Halloween camping. It did last, unlike some of the other costumes he has that couldn't be worn another time.

This is a well made, great looking costume. The different layers go together well and the fabric and stitching is pretty well done for a costume. It is a little heavy and warm but that suits Halloween in most areas. It really does look great, and my son loves it. A few notes: - It does not come with a sword or a shield. - The helmet is great and the mask that goes under it is pretty cool. - I was worried the size I got would be too big for my son and I almost went a size smaller, but it actually fit him about like a glove and he wouldn't have fit into a smaller size. Considering that most costumes today treat ninja and Samurai as interchangeable things, real Samurai costumes are hard to find. This one has the right idea, offering a suit of armor like a Samurai would have, and offering it in a pretty high quality package. I expect that this costume will have a long life as a toy costume after it concludes its Halloween service. Definitely recommended.

Son loved it! Great fit, very impressed with overall appearance, especially for the price

After spending an embarrassing amount of time looking up Halloween costumes for my 11 yr old, I came across this on Amazon. He loves it! It has many detailed pieces that he has to put on one at a time (like a true samurai being armored), and his 8 yr old brother loves helping him put it on like a squire. Great quality. Would have been a steal at $30, so $49 isn’t bad. One piece of advice: the horns of the helmet and mask were bent from shipping. Don’t be discouraged. We just grabbed a blow dryer, heated up the pieces carefully, reshaped them, then ran them under cold water to lock it in place. Voila!

Good costume but is missing the medallion that comes with the helmet.
