Waytronic Motion Sensor Voice Player, PIR Infrared Activated MP3 Sound Speaker with USB Upload Custom Audio, Motion Activated Alarm & Greeting Device for Home, Store Entry

I was looking for a a motion activated speaker to add a soundboard that I made for trick or treaters as they approach our door, and this seems to be perfect! After having read previous reviews you do need to be mindful of how large of an MP3 file you add to the device, as well as what it's named (ie. 1.mp3) Once the file was added the device did not initially play it, however I took the advice of another reviewer and turned the device off once or twice and held the buttons down thereafter a couple times, and VOILA! it worked :) Take note, the speaker is extremely loud with no adjustment to lower, so be mindful, you may want to lower the file volume to compensate before adding. This may sound like a a lot for someone who's not as tech savvy, however in total it took only about 15 min or so. Once I did this it worked like charm! I've tested it several times, and walked past in which it activated every time perfectly! For $22 it's a sweet addition to our Halloween arsenal. Hope this helps!

After a lot of searching, I settled on this device for my yard for halloween. Extremely pleased with my choice! The device is extremely small, but whacks a great punch in terms of sound! It's able to reach very far in terms of detecting motion. Up to 13 ft. In my video, you can barely see where I hid it. I made sure it gets pointed out to you so you can see how far away it was yet I am still able to hear the audio very clearly from where I am standing. If you want to hide it even better, like I did, put some black tape over the red light that turns on when the motion sensor activates. It does not interfere with the function of the device if this light gets covered.

This motion sensor works well and detects movement at a greater range than I expected. The alarm is sufficiently loud to get your attention. I do wish it could record audio directly to the device; instead, the audio has to be recorded as a file and copied over with a computer, which is doable but inconvenient. Overall, it’s a good option if you want strong detection and a loud alert and don’t mind the extra step for audio.

I purchased four of these PIR recordable soundboxes for our escape room haunt and they were exactly what we needed, with a few issues that had solutions. First, when I tried to upload various sound files it didn't seem to play anything but the first sound. Being a zombie moan, it got quite annoying. However, when I saw the preexisting files on the second player, I realized it was user error. The files must be named '1', '2', etc. without any other identifier. The second issue I had was the usb plug on one player. My computer wouldn't recognize the soundbox. I took the cable that came with the first one (that didn't have issues) and it worked. If I had only bought one, I would have thought it was a bad unit. Not sure if a usb cable for a phone would work, but I suspect it would. The third issue I had was with volume. At the lower setting it is still quite loud and therefore tinny. To overcome this I turned down the volume on my files using Audacity's free software. I was able to hide one in my zombie's shirt, leaving a small space for the sensor without hindering the functionality. Overall, this product performed perfectly for our event and I will be a return customer.

The device worked initially with the preloaded sounds. I followed the instructions exactly as provided to add my own sounds. The files I used are MP3, the names are 1.mp3, 2.mp3, etc. Each file is only about 60kb -- all files totaling no more than 500kb together. After trying different configurations for several hours, I was unable to get it to play any of my sounds. I tried following other reviewers' advice of turning the switch on and off, holding buttons, etc, but still no luck. I can see the light flash when I hold the A button down, but other than that, no action/sound. I have not been able to get my own sounds out since replacing the files. I am pretty tech savvy and was still unable to get it to work. I do not recommend because either the device does not work as advertised, or the instructions are so terribly written that following them does not yield expected results.

Motion detection works well, sound is loud, but only has three sound choices. You need to download other sounds, and instructions are too small to read. Worked well for my purpose, chasing animals from under my deck.

This does everything it should, but at 10x the volume expected. When I tried it out the door blew open and pictures flew off the walls. My cat stuck her head in the toilet. I went to look for a volume switch and found that it was on the middle setting (off-middle-loud)! I knew I shouldn't but I tried the loud setting. There are no windows left in my neighborhood nor paint on the walls. It's been very quiet since then though... I haven't heard a thing. I might never again. 5 stars for excellent volume for the price!

This thing is pretty great, and honestly way easier than you would think 1. Plug this into your computer/tablet It should show up as some kind of storage device. It has about 0.5 gigs which isn't a lot, but for an audio file, it's plenty. 2. Select the audio file you want to add to the device and drag and drop it into the device If for whatever reason the new file is too large, you can delete the pre-existing files by simply selecting them and deleting them. I did this from the start to make things simpler. The instructions that come with the device don't really make it clear how to select just one audio recording. To make things simple, I just have one recording on the device. 3. After you have the audio file you want on the device, and have safely unpaired/unmounted from your computer/tablet, install the device where you want it. It comes with some plastic mounting hardware, but I used a command strip because it's more apartment friendly. 4. Enjoy! In my video the device plays the opening to the haunted mansion ride. It has a switch on the side for volume and power. All the way to the top is high volume, the middle is low volume, and the bottom is off. It's that simple! Hope this helps 😁

確かにはじめは録音再生できませんでした。 やり方としてはフォーマット削除してMP3を転送させる（この間は電池入れない）USB供給のみ PCより外して電池入れ机の上などに置き横切ると音声流れます 説明書はよくわかならいですがスイッチ音量真ん中もしくは上側にしてセンサー部を横切ると必ず音声再生されます。 再生できない要因として考えられるのは本体を動かして再生しようとしている為と思われます その辺置いてご自身が移動すればセンサー反応し録音再生されますよ

Tiene poco espacio sin embargo, es perfecto para lo que lo usaré, el sensor funciona y los fos niveles dd volumen suenan muy bien !
