Excellent Vacuum, But Check the Pro Bundle First
This is my fourth Dyson vacuum at this point, so clearly Iโve bought into the ecosystem. Iโve used cheaper cordless vacuums before, and while some of them are fine, Dyson is one of those brands where the convenience, suction, attachments, and overall usability have kept me coming back. The V15 Detect is a great example of why. Cleaning performance is excellent. It has a ton of suction for a cordless vacuum, and I like that it can intelligently adjust power based on debris and floor type instead of making me constantly switch settings manually. The LCD screen is also more useful than I expected. Seeing all the debris particles youโve picked up makes vacuuming feel weirdly like a game, like Iโm trying to beat my previous high score. It also gives me a better sense of which areas of my house are actually dirtier than they look. Battery life is solid for real-world use. While you probably wonโt see the full listed runtime if youโre using higher power modes or motorized attachments, Iโve never had issues cleaning an entire floor on medium or auto mode. The power trigger helps stretch runtime since it only runs when you actually need it, and the remaining runtime display makes it easy to know whether you have enough battery left to keep going. The cleaner heads are a big part of why I like Dyson vacuums in general. The Fluffy Optic cleaner head is my go-to for hard floors. It picks up dust, hair, and small debris without issue, and the green laser is one of those features that sounds like a gimmick until you actually use it. It really does show you all the hidden gunk on the floor that you would otherwise completely miss. The Digital Motorbar works well across different floor types, and the detangling design is great if you deal with longer hair or pet hair. The Mini Motorized tool is also useful for stairs, upholstery, mattresses, and tighter areas where the full-size head is too much. Build quality is what Iโd expect from Dyson. It feels durable without being overly heavy, and the whole vacuum is easy to maneuver around furniture, under tables, and between rooms. I also like that it converts into a handheld vacuum because that makes it much more useful than a standard upright. The filtration is another plus, especially if you care about dust and fine particles being trapped instead of just blown back into the room. There is, however, an elephant in the room that needs to be addressed. This regular V15 Detect is great, but at the time Iโm looking at it, itโs the same price as the V15 Detect Pro, which includes an extra battery and more attachments. Buying Dyson accessories separately gets expensive very quickly, so unless this specific version is on sale, I would strongly suggest looking at the Pro bundle instead. It just makes more sense for the money. Overall, this is still a fantastic cordless vacuum if you want strong suction, smart cleaning, the green laser hard floor head, good battery life, and a vacuum that can realistically handle whole-home cleaning. I just think the value depends heavily on the price compared to the Pro bundle.

Dyson V15 Detect Cordless Vacuum
I have owned many Dysonโs over my adult life and think they are getting better and better. I recently ordered the V15 Detect Pro, and this vacuum is absolutely incredible. First, it has super strong suction power and we thought our carpets were clean from using our older upright, but we do have 3 dogs. When we used this for the first time, we filled the canister up 4 times with dog fur and dust, and it was alarming how our floors were actually not clean at all. This has multiple power strengths including an auto that self adjusts. With the LED display screen we can tell how much battery life is remaining along with total particles picked up, which is so cool - and again, alarming to see how much it was picking up. I absolutely love that it has whole machine filtration to keep the particles trapped inside. This vacuum works amazing and this particular one comes with multiple additional attachments. First, thereโs the Digital Motor Bar Cleaning Head which detangles and sucks up hair and long fur (two of our dogs are long haired) without getting tangible around the bar - that works great and there were no hairs on the bar when we were finished. Then, thereโs the Fluffy Optic Cleaning Head which is perfect for hardwood floors, and works great for our LVP floors. This one includes the green light to detect the dust and particles on the floor in front of me. That one taunts me a little because I can see every speck and am determined to get all of it. It works great! Additionally, it comes with a more narrow head, which is so perfect for cleaning our stairs. And finally, it comes with two batteries and chargers so you have a backup charged and ready to go! The battery life is good, but we have a lot of floors. We were able to do the whole house - about 2400 square feet but by the time we were done, we had exhausted both batteries. I love how sleek this vacuum is, and how incredibly well it works. This machine is very high in price compared to my prior Dysonโs but the level of effectiveness makes it so valuable. I was a bit nervous about the price being worth it, but it absolutely is and our life and home are upgraded because of it!

High-End Cordless Stick Vacuum with Modular Tool Set and Quick-Access Docking System
I picked up this cordless vacuum to save myself from lugging big, heavy vacuums around the house or fighting with the cumbersome hoses and brush heads of a central vacuum system. The lightweight form factor and the fact that it hangs right on the wall dock charger makes it convenient to grab and clean up a localized mess immediately. The pist*l-grip design makes it highly ergonomic to point and vacuum, and the poly-composite build feels balanced in hand. It also comes with a comprehensive set of quick-connect brush heads, including the Digital Motorbar, for different cleaning tasks. If I have a complaint, it is that the baseline airflow feels a bit weaker than expected for the premium price point relative to available substitutes in the high-end consumer electronics class. I took it down to my boat to clean up some accumulated dry leaves from the deck, and the motor had a tough time drawing them up. To be fair, that is a heavy-duty job I would normally reserve for a dedicated 120-volt shop vac with a wider hose diameter, and any standard household cordless vacuum would have struggled with it. I probably just had outsized expectations for an $800+ consumer device, hoping it would combine lightweight cordless convenience with the raw static lift of a garage utility vacuum. Given the structural build quality and smart sensor performance versus comparable premium options, this is clearly an elite household maintenance tool rather than a budget stick vac or a shop-grade mechanical monster. It is best suited for anyone looking for a quick, efficient tool for everyday household cleanup who wants an advanced tech profile and doesn't mind paying a premium for pure convenience. If you need to detail marine carpets or haul heavy outdoor debris, you should bypass this and stick to a heavy-duty shop vac. As the immortal FB once said, "If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up."

Best vacuum Iโve ever used, my floors have never been cleaner
This is by far the best vacuum Iโve used in my life. I have hardwood floors and some large area rugs throughout my house, and both of the cleaner heads exceeded my expectations. I have a dog and her hair gets embedded in the rugs, and my old vacuum from a different brand only cleaned them on the surface level and left most of the dog hair behind. The digital motorbar head does a great job of vacuuming up all dirt and ALL the hair on my rugs. The fluffy optic head is seriously impressive. It illuminates all the dust and dirt on the hardwood floors, even things I canโt see with my naked eye. My floors have never been cleaner. The box came well packaged and everything was includedโ the V15 Detect cordless vacuum, Digital Motorbar cleaner head, fluffy optic cleaner head, wall dock, charging cable, crevice tool, and mini motorized tool. It took 2-3 hours to fully charge to 100% before using it. Itโs lightweight and comfortable to use, and itโs easy to attach and reattach the heads. I absolutely love how you empty the dust bin; itโs so simple and works very well. Just press the bar and it quickly empties on its own. I also really like the digital screen that shows you the stats, including how much remaining battery is left and how many particles you are picking up as you clean. You can also use the screen to switch between Eco, Auto, and Boost cleaning modes. Iโve been switching between Auto and Eco mode. This is my first time Iโve used a cordless vacuum and Iโm so glad I made the switch. Itโs so easy to carry the vacuum from room to room without having to worry about plugging in a cord. The crevice tool works way better than a personal car vacuum I have; it really sucks everything up! Is the vacuum expensive? Of course it is, but itโs seriously worth every penny. I highly recommend it.

Works very well, lightweight and versatile.
I have mixed feelings about this vacuum for several reasons but I will start with the pros first. I love the attachments, there is literally something for every floor type, which makes my life easier. It is versatile in that it works on furniture, can be used in the car, lightweight enough to vacuum the stairs without lugging a heavy machine, is cordless so no more tangles and can reach tight spaces. I really like the green light as it does show everything on the floor making it easy to not miss dirt and as someone who has two very long haired cats, that is a huge bonus. The attachments are easy to connect and disconnect and come with a handy wall caddie for storage. The last pro's are the LED screen that allow you to see how many particles you are picking up, how much time is left on the battery and three options (Eco, Auto, Boost) to choose from when vacuuming. Personally, I am not concerned with how many particles I am picking up, my OCD will take over if I put to much attention on that and will be forever vacuuming, however I do like that I can see how long I have left and have options to choose from as far as the boost when using the vacuum. The cons are the fact that the top of the vacuum has some pretty deep scratches that were already on it and I wonder if it is refurbished. I cannot use the vacuum on any washable rugs, as heavy as they are my regular vacuum works fine but this one will not, even using the switch to raise the roller, it will not work. I have tried all the attachments and each stop working within seconds of any attempt. The last con is it is difficult to not make a mess when emptying the cannister. I cannot deny that it works very well, all of the attachments give it a lot of versatile, it is very lightweight but at the same time I do have some concerns.

Powerful Cleaning with Smart New Features
This Dyson V15 has been a noticeable upgrade for me after using a very well loved Dyson V11. The V11 has been a trooper and was the best vacuum I had used so far, but I had heard great things about the V15 and was excited to finally move to the newer model. In terms of look and feel, the V15 is very similar to the V11. The main differences are the updated display interface and the green light floor attachment. The V15 also feels slightly heavier in the hand, but not so much that it is uncomfortable to use. The cleaning performance is where I saw the biggest change. Even on carpet that had been recently vacuumed, the V15 pulled up a surprising amount of dust, cat hair, and other debris. The green light hard floor attachment is another standout feature. It makes it very easy to see dust and crumbs that you would normally miss, especially under chairs and in low traffic rooms. It was honestly eye opening to see how much dust and mess showed up once that green light was on. Another improvement is the anti detangling design on the main vacuum head. There are small claws that help grab hair, string, and similar debris so it does not wrap around the brush bar. This works well, though I did notice that the V11 head runs a bit quieter, while the V15 has a slight thumping sound. I also appreciate that the V15 uses a quick release battery system instead of the screw in style used on the V11, which makes swapping batteries fast and easy. Overall, I am happy with this upgrade. If you are perfectly satisfied with your older Dyson, you probably do not need to rush out and replace it. However, if features like the green light attachment, anti detangling head, and slightly improved power appeal to you, I do not think you will be disappointed with the V15.

Expensive? Yes. Worth it? YES. Premium vacuum...
This is obviously expensive for a vacuum, there's no argument there, but for me, there is no substitute. All the main things you'd expect are true: suction is good, battery life is good (it's never run out while I've used it), charges fast, attachments work well and are easy to switch. It comes with a wall mount that keeps all the attachments handy and relatively compact as well. All great features of a quality machine. However, there are two game-changing features that I absolutely love. The first is the Detect feature. It is shocking how much dust is on the floor and cannot be seen under regular light! The Detect light illuminates it all so well and it is so satisfying to see all of it gone. Without it, you would vacuum the room and think it was clean but it turns out you would be missing a lot. The second feature I absolutely love is how easy it is to empty the collection chamber. Just a quick push of the ejection handle and the contents are physically pushed out of the chamber and into the bin. And as a third bonus, I'll just throw in that the whole vacuum is easy to take apart for a deep cleaning or part replacement if you ever need to. I have not had to perform many deep cleans over the lifespan, it doesn't seem to need it, but every once in a while when it is needed, it is very easy. The display on the back also is fun to watch to see how many particles of various sizes you're picking up. Not essential, but cool. Some brands are all name and hype, but my experience with Dyson has been that they actually put a lot of thought into the real-world use of their products and that's worth something to me.

I AM OBSESSED
I have wanted a Dyson vacuum for years and I am not exaggerating when I say that this is the best thing I have ever gotten for myself in my lifetime! I have also wanted a Dyson vacuum but was hesitant due the price tag - after buying other Dyson products, I began to understand the praise and needed the vacuum! This has EXCEEDED my expectations! I have a long hair dog that sheds a ton and my house is a mix of hardwood and tall pile carpet. I have to vacuum every single day just to keep up with it. I have tried tons of other vacuums and I have run into a ton of issues with the battery life not lasting long enough, or the the canister not holding enough, and just not doing a great job. I vacuumed the day before this vacuum arrived and when testing it on my living room rug, it looked like I hadn't vacuumed in months! I am so impressed at how much dust and dirt it really picks up! I can't believe my floors have been that dirty for so long! I love that I can mount it to my wall and it chargers quick! The battery life lasting for an hour is a game changer! I love how it tracks the micron count and I truly feel healthier living in my home knowing its picking up that much! It is lightweight and so easy to use. It picks up so much and swivels effortlessly on my floor. This is 150% WORTH THE PRICE TAG! After using this for a while, I don't think I can ever use any other vacuum every again!
