Great needles
These embroidery needles are very good quality, especially for cross stitching, and they have a smooth glide through fabric, good eye size, and sharpness. They are durable, don’t discolor, especially if your hands start to get clammy. By far the best needs to cross stitch with and great value for a 6ct.

Excellent needles! One was missing, but Amazon replaced.
Fantastic needles, but sadly one was missing from the package. Amazon promptly sent a replacement package. These are very good needles! I have a platinum-plated needle from around 1980 that was the best I had ever used. The Bohin needles are equal, if not better. The point is smoothly rounded, but not dull. The eye is narrow, but it is easy enough to thread. It doesn't bulge out and distort your fabric. Definitely recommend! You don't want to lose these! Get a good magnetic case or a screw-top tube to store them in. Keep them on a bit of fabric and put a dessicator packet in the case.

Great!
Bohin needles are the best for cross stitch. They glide right through the canvas. The eye of the needle is sized just right and is very smooth. Does not shred the floss. Needles are sturdy. Have not had any break. Will continue to buy.

Works as needed for my embroidery
These were my first brand when I started back into embroidery. I like them, they are a good value for the money. They stay sharp, are easy to thread and easy to use. The size is perfect for my needs doing embroidery painting which is a finer more intricate style. I use the Bohin as well as Tulip brand.

Superior Product
These needles are far superior to DMC, John James, and other tapestry needles I've used over the years. I try to use Bohin needles whenever possible as they glide through the fabric without snagging and do not break as easily as the more cheaply made DMC. The points are the perfect amount of bluntness whereas John James points are too blunt and are more difficult to use with precision and are even sometimes difficult to push through the fabric. My needles arrived on schedule and in perfect condition.

Bohin rocks as a cross stitch needle
I'm reviewing the 6 pack of Bohin sewing (tapestry) needles as someone who prolifically cross stitches. The blunt end on these needles make for a very smooth entry into the cloth you are working with whether the cloth be Aida or linen. I have found, as opposed to DMC needles, the eyes of Bohin needles are smooth and hardly ever catch on the floss you are working with. Threading these needles is an easy operation too. The eyes are just big enough to make threading almost effortless while also not stretching the cloth when you pull the stitch through your cloth. The finish on every needle is flawless - smooth chromium every time. Lastly, if you can stitch without losing your needle (as happens to me often), the needles last a very long time and the finish doesn't easily wear off. These Bohin needles are an easy five star rating from me. Simply put, these needles are some of the best I've used in my 30 years of stitching.
