著者の主観が強すぎ？？
日本のガイドブックに書かれていない地域を旅行するにあたって、購入してみました。ちょっとマイナーな地域を旅をしながら読んだだけですが、著者の主観が強すぎると思いました。おすすめの村に行ってみましたが、私にはまったく面白くなかった！！私の琴線には響くものが皆無でした。イタリア語のガイドブックも持っていたのですが、有名なそのガイドブックには全く掲載されていない村でした。 ホテルもせいぜい3つ星程度までの紹介。レストランの選び方は「地球の歩き方」のほうが断然いいと思いました。私の旅には向いていませんでしたので星は4つです。この本は、アウトドアを楽しんだり、ドライブをしたりする体験型のツーリストにはいいかもしれませんが、日本人が求めている旅には、どうでしょうか？？

I always go for the lonely planet books and once again, it did not disappoint. It has a lot of recommendations with addresses and places to see.

Very useful
A large book that had enough detail on the areas that we visited- Umbria, Rome and Naples. Highly recommended. You know you can't go wrong with lonely planet!
