Great Batteries But Buy Elsewhere Until Bad Stock Is Replaced
Energizer Max batteries are great. Compared to Duracell batteries which I have often used, these Energizer Max batteries last longer in service, have better power output, and have longer shelf life. I have not had Energizer Max batteries corrode and swell up in my Maglite flashlights like Duracell and other brands have done. The batteries get five stars. Amazon gets only one star. Although delivery was extremely fast, the batteries they sent were corroded and dented inside the sealed plastic factory package. I had to buy my Energizer max D-cell batteries from Home Depot this time after returning the ones from Amazon. Home Depot was more expensive, but the batteries are fresh (expiration date 12-2037) and available on the store shelf.

Great buy!
You really can’t go wrong with Energizer batteries. I’ve purchased these multiple times and they’ve always been reliable across a wide range of uses, from remotes and flashlights to kids’ toys and everyday household electronics. They last a long time and hold their charge well, so I’m not constantly swapping batteries out. The price point is solid for the quality you get, especially compared to other brands that don’t perform as consistently. Overall, dependable performance at a good price — I’ll keep buying these.

Every Battery Appears To Have Leaked In The Package?
I think the packs I was sent are old stock. I cannot find a use by date on them, but I do see 2023 in the text on the package. So I assume they are 3 years old. The batteries work and seem to be fully charged, but every battery in both packs has discolorations on them. I am not sure if they got damp, or if they leaked, or they got too hot or cold. I am not sure what would cause it. But look at the picture and tell me what you think. To me it appears they leaked but I don't know what would cause that. I always buy Energizer batteries, they are my favorite. But these I would not buy again, I think the seller is shipping old stock.

If you value your expensive electronics buy Energizer.....
I confess, I used to only purchase the copper and black batteries until the day one of my remote controllers ran out of power. No problem I will simply just change the batteries.....was I in for a shock! I pried on the little tab that held the battery flap/cover in place ~ it did not move!.....hmm, I thought that's strange, so time to step up my game here and use the trusty teaspoon ....again no luck, so out came the butter knife and after jamming its chunky blade into the belly of the remote the flap finally flew off with a snap! What did I see? - instead of seeing two old batteries snuggled in their compartments I viewed two deformed mini metallic snickers that had spewed out a smelly toxic concoction all over each other, it was bad. I tugged, I pulled and finally managed to free the remote control from these weird looking batteries only to see more of this gunge had solidified around Mr.Spring....I now only buy Energizer batteries as they do not leak!
