Review: A good book to have on you're journey! - This book is wonderful! It's a quick read and goes over the basics of IVF. There are plenty of sections to fill out your information through out your journey. I purchased Tabbed post-its' to mark the pages I log the most on, that way I can access it quickly. I believe it is worth the price and I would recommend it to others. Review: Wonderful journal for BOTH!! - This has been a wonderful resource for BOTH me and my husband. He likes the information that the book has about tax info and other things while I like the places I can jot down notes on the procedures and appointments that I have had. Thank you for having such a wonderful tool for such a trying event in a persons life. There is also great (emotional) information on how to expect to feel!

I wish there was a way to more easily get to all the record keeping parts
In a way i wish there was more detailed information inside The record keeping charts were really helpful though. I wish there was a way to more easily get to all the record keeping parts...maybe if they were all at the end or something so you could go straight to them? Also I'm not a big fan of the way I had to skip around to three different parts of the book to fill out charts relating to what i was doing at the moment. Perhaps the grouping of charts could have been done better to keep relevant charts together. With that said though, the charts were really helpful and i liked that it was a dedicated book to track a cycle. Do recommend it as a helpful resource but think it could do with some reshuffling in order to be even more useful

Desperately needed this!
I'm in the pre-cycle part of my first IVF experience and I received this book today and couldn't be happier with what I've read so far. It's a no-hold-barred view of the ups and downs of the process, and I love the way she writes and the reading is fluid and I can't appreciate it more. Thank you for giving women (and men) the truth and providing the knowledge you uncovered having been through this tough journey!

I wish there was more
This book is very nice. There is allot that I like about this book but there is also allot I don't like. I didn't realize what was missing until I was about half way into it. Because of this I'm going to have to search for another book. my favorite parts are the STIM meds/daily monitoring pages and the finance tracker. This is very helpful and I love the layout. I do wish they added more days for the stim medications (space for 10 days) also more space in the right and left ovary monitoring (space for 4 days). I had to squeeze allot of information in here. Another thing I'm really not happy with and its what caused me to rate lower. There is only 1 page for the embryo transfer. maybe if your doing a fresh transfer this is enough but I'm doing a frozen transfer. This requires more injection schedules and new protocols. There is no space to put any of this information.

Helped me.
IVF sucks! It just sucks, but this made it a little easier to keep track of all my Dr's, phone numbers, and other information. It also is written in a way that doesn't make you feel bad or judged and isn't stuffing religion down your throat. Please don't hesitate to get this book, it will be worth it, it will help. And good luck.

Good pirchase
Great book with lots of areas to write notes of your ivf journey, suggested spots were also nice. I wish there were spots for if your cycle failed and how you chose to remember it. Wish there were spots for multiple ivf cycles

Five Stars
Excellent, although some aspects not relevant as written for the American market.

A good starting place, but could be better
I was really excited about this book, but what I realized is that you actually might be better off just getting a notebook and using that. While the information is great it's quite verbose and you can get the same content off youtube videos nowadays. Some of the content I wanted to see was missing (eg. increased genetic risks associated with IVF and how to mitigate these) and it definitely could have used more blank 'for your notes' pages and less specific fill-in-the-blank information. Furthermore some chapters (eg. financial planning) really were geared to an American audience (particularly as in my province in Canada IVF is paid for by the government). I think the sections on preparing yourself for any outcome will potentially prove useful. Overall it was good but I've already found myself stapling in my notes from appointments.
