Does the job.
Can you buy a higher quality, more expensive mount? Yes, and it will do the same thing. Although this unit is made of plastic, it has decent suction and articulation. Make sure mounting surface is clean and suction pads are free of any dirt or debris. It is plastic so be gentle with it. If the plastic base was thicker or a higher grade, or maybe aluminum this would make it a better mount. But its cheap and doing any improvements would raise the price. If I break one I will buy another.
