Love this mouse so much I’ve bought it twice
As someone with hypermobile joints, this mouse alleviated a lot of aching in my fingers, hand, and wrist. I previously used a very low profile Magic Mouse and my hand was cramping so bad at the end of the day. With the MX mouse, I control it more from my whole arm rather than my wrist. It only took a day or two to adjust to the vertical style. No pain since. I said I bought it twice - I got the first one 6 years ago on a whim. It still works fine but the rubber in the high traffic touch points is wearing away and kinda gummy. (The texture was distracting.) Still works fine, it’s just been demoted to being a travel mouse for work.

Finally, a comfortable vertical mouse for guys with large hands!
I've been using the Logitech MX Vertical Wireless Mouse for about 8 years now, and I love it. Any time I have to use a traditional mouse it's an uncomfortable disappointment. If you haven't used a vertical mouse yet, there are a couple things you need to know. First - this is just a normal mouse, but it's turned about 60-degrees to the right. This let's your hand rest on the mouse in the natural position your arm wants it to be in without any effort to rotate. Second - you will knock it over, repeatedly, for a few weeks. Because you're used to a mouse that's a just an inch and a half or so tall, your natural movement from keyboard to mouse is going to be interrupted by the height of the MX Vertical. In time, you will get used to this, but for a week or two, you will knock it over when moving to the mouse, and when moving back to the keyboard. Don't worry, your muscle memory will change and this will stop. Third - once you get used to using the MX Vertical, you won't want to use any other mouse. It's a dramatic change in ergonomics, and you will feel the strain your wrist and forearm are under any time you have to use a traditional mouse. There are other verticals that are also great, but as a guy with large hands, this is the best I've found. I have 4 of these now - one at my office, one at my dining room table, one at my desk, and one that travels in my backpack. I don't need all of these, but its handy having them where I need them. Another reason for this is the mouse can pair with 3 devices. I have different devices in each of these locations, so it's handy not having to re-pair when I move between locations. The MX Vertical fits my hand perfect, and all buttons are where my fingers and thumb are naturally positioned. I've dropped them, knocked them down, bumped and tossed them and they keep on working properly, so from a durability standpoint, this will last. It's easy to pair with a push of a button - working with my Windows computers, MacBook, android phone and iPad. This thing just works great! The only downside I'd mention is the coating. After a couple of years, the coating tends to migrate where you apply pressure. This is most apparent where the thumb and pinky finger rest. This doesn't cause any functional issues, and is entirely cosmetic, but just be aware that after a couple years it won't look pristine. All-in-all, this is the vertical mouse to buy if you're a guy with larger hands. Get one, get used to it, and you won't regret it.

A Truly Ergonomic Mouse
Other not completely flat mice claim to be "ergonomic", but the only way to completely remove stress from your forearm when using a mouse is with a "vertical" mouse. My 2020 K75575WW Kensington ergonomic vertical mouse developed a problem with the left button "stuttering" so that it sent multiple button clicks when pressed just once. I liked the Kensington quite a bit. But it always just a little bit on the "not quite as solid as I would like" side, and failing after just 2.5 years confirmed this. So I wanted a more solidly build mouse. A search for "ergonomic mouse review" showed that the Logitech MX Master 3S was clearly the best ergonomic mouse available. At $100 it was several times more expensive as others including the latest Kensington vertical mouse. But sometimes furgal doesn't mean the least expensive. Sometimes it can mean the most expensive if that comes with better performance, features and lifespan. So I ordered it. And while it is indeed an incredible mouse, the angle is only about 20 degrees. The result is that while there is some reduction in forearm stress compared to a flat mouse, it wasn't enough for me. By the end of my very long days driving my mouse almost as much as I drive my keyboard, I could feel the tension building up in my forearm. So after a week I returned it and bought this Logitech MX Vertical. It is slightly less expensive than the MX Master 3S, but still much more expensive relative to other options. And while it is lighter and a little less substantial feeling in my hand than the MX Master 3S, it still feels very firm and solid. Most importantly keeps my hand in the neutral position with my fingers at about 70 degrees. A great feature of the MX Vertical shares with the MX Master 3S is the thumb rest. The Kensington didn't have this and so my thumb rested on the desktop. If it was a bit warm and my hands would sweat my thumb wouldn't slide smoothly and I would have to lift my thumb off the desk when I went to move the mouse. Not a horrible thing, but if you spend 8+ hours mousing around it gets tiresome. The button clicks are crisp. Best of all when the button bottoms out it feels like it is pressing against the case. It doesn't feel like travel is being limited by the switch itself bottoming out like the Kensington felt like it did. My hope is that this will keep the switch from wearing out so fast as happened with the Kensington. One slight negative of the MX Vertical is that I don't feel like I am quite as accurate in being able to move the cursor to a specific spot on the screen without some amount of conscious effort. Instead it doesn't go exactly in the direction I intended and overshoots where wanted it to stop. As such it might not make the best mouse for video games. [UPDATE: There is a bit of a learning curve in moving the mouse accurately. In the last couple weeks my need to make a more conscious effort to move the mouse to a specific spot on the screen is going down. Still think it is likely to not be as accurate as a flater mouse]

Experience after one year of usage
I had mainly used a MX Master 2S before this and because of my heavy usage I did start to feel uncomfortable after a few hours of use every day and that's when I decided to purchase MX Vertical. Now after almost 9 months of usage this has become the mouse I use on a daily basis, completely replacing MX Master 2S. Comfort: It took me about a day or two to really get used to using it because of the positioning and ever since then my wrist has never felt any discomfort, literally. I don't have a mouse pad but because of the angle that my wrist is contact with the desk when I use it, this has never been a problem. What I also love about the ergonomic design is that my hand can actually just rest on it when not doing specific tasks, and it just fits my palm perfectly. Functionality: I don't use it for gaming so I can't comment on that. However, comparing it with my Master 2S, there are some very obvious disadvantages. If you use Excel sheets a lot, or anything that requires horizontal viewing, the scrolling option is terrible. You can set up the function key on Logi Options+ and I use the side buttons for scroll right+left mainly because how easy it was to use with the Master 2S's side scrolling buttons. It is not comparable at all. With Master 2s, horizontal scrolling is smooth and precise. With this, it's basically useless. There are sites that just aren't responsive to the side buttons and when they do, you can never get to the precise point you want. Huge disappointment with that because I don't really use the side buttons for anything else. There is also no scrolling control with the middle button unlike the Master 2S, so you can't really scroll vertically as fast as you can when using Master 2S either. However I do use the middle button sometimes to just do the job for me so I'm ok with its basic functionality. The top button is mainly used as a look-up button for me, so far its working pretty well and honestly it probably makes not much difference if they just completely take this button out for me. Maybe some people can find use in it as a switch for scrolling or mouse speed, or something else. Overall, the customizability of these buttons is very good, and depending on personal use, I can see it being very useful. Battery life: Battery life is fantastic, never had any problem with it yet. I haven't really kept track but with my heavy daily usage (probably 10+ hours with no intense gaming), it can usually go for more than a month. You can also use it while it's being charged. Durability: I have unfortunately knocked it over the desk a couple times on hard vinyl floor and there seems to be no problem with it at all. Before purchasing this I saw some comments about how it stopped functioning after being dropped to the floor and I was really worried about it. However that is not my case at all. It is very durable in my opinion and does its job perfectly even after dropping it a few times. Overall, extremely comfortable to use. It helped with my wrist pain tremendously and now I use it for hours without feeling any discomfort. The functionality is severely disadvantageous compared to Master 2s and 3s, and possibly other gaming mouses as well, but if you are here because of wrist pain, this is the right product.

Definitely worth the purchase if you have hand pain!
I’ve been experiencing hand pain for over a 2 years now and I had been doing stretches to try to combat the pain, to no avail. So I assumed that there was going to be nothing that could be done about it, unless I wanted to change professions. I came upon this mouse by accident while looking for a new keyboard and decided to give it a chance based on reviews...I am SO glad I did. Ergonomics This is not an exaggeration...my hand pain was near non-existent at the end of day 1. I could easily test because I would have pain while gripping my water bottle throughout the day so much so that I would only pick up with my non dominant hand for the past few months. I was able to grab, lift, twist with zero pain. My hand still didn’t feel “right “ as it’s been having this pain for a long time...but it didn’t hurt. A week in and I am loving this mouse. My hand strength is returning and I can grab all but the largest things without even a hint of pain. I kind of balked at the price at first, but I’ll have zero issue purchasing this mouse in the future should I need it. I have large, NBA/NFL hands and I love how this mouse feels. I can imagine that it’s size MAY be a concern to someone with really small hands, but I wouldn’t be able to speak to that. Productivity As for my work, I didn’t have any issues converting over to this mouse, and I use a mouse/keyboard for 8+ hours a day during the week. I use mouse intensive programs such as photoshop, illustrator as well as 3d programs like cinema 4d and I could even sculpt using this mouse without a learning curve. I have a huge 32oz water bottle that I can lift without issue with my left hand, but I still have slight pain when lifting with my right, but 99% of people could never get a single hand around this bottle anyway. Point being that only the biggest things cause me any discomfort after only a week with this new mouse. I hope that with extended use, I can get my full grip strength back without any pain. The big test will be if I can palm a basketball again without pain. Maybe I’ll update this review after a month. Functionality I got the corresponding Logitech ergo keyboard and these 2 together is a great combo. It automatically asked if I wanted to use one dongle to control both after I had gotten them both installed (everything installed automatically once plugged in) and I have had zero issues. I left my old “gaming” mouse plugged in just in case I felt that I needed a regular feeling mouse for anything, but I haven’t touched it yet. I probably would use a standard mouse for gaming just because the symmetry would probably feel better...but so far, I’ve had no reason to go back to the old mouse. Can’t speak to battery life yet because it’s only been a week but the conveniently place USB port will basically turn it into a wired mouse when you need to charge it so that’s great. Not like Apple’s so called “Magic Mouse” that becomes a brick while charging given the cable input is on the bottom of the mouse.

Most comfortable mouse that I have ever used.
I will buy this again. I sometimes need to do marathon sessions and then feel it in the wrist and hand. Marathons usually go multi-day, too. My cheap mouse died, so I tried this. The natural hold is noticeably more comfortable than the best other mouse that I have used. Movement is smooth. It has all the Logitech qualities in adjustability, smoothness, and compatibility. I use it with my laptop. Its larger size is very worth carrying, and I travel light. The rechargeable battery is new to me but works fine.

Great ergonomics, but at a steep price
I don't often write review, but this needs to be said: this mouse could be great. I believe the last review I left on Amazon was for another Logitech mouse, the Mx Master 3. I only left that review because I absolutely loved the mouse. The main scroll wheel is am absolute delight to use (not to mention very useful), the additional thumb scrollwheel comes in handy in apps that involve a lot of side scrolling (or in apps like Photoshop where it can control brush size). It has two side buttons perfectly positoned I use them as back/forward buttons). And it has a gesture button, which you can press and then move the mouse in a certain direction to trigger a specific function. The bluetooth connetion sometimes dropped for a second or two, but that was really only noticeable in games; using the included USB dongle eliminates this issue completely. For $99, it was hands down the best mouse I ever had, and I've purchased so called "gaming" mice that cost 1.5-2x that amount. However, I've since developed what seems to be an ulnar nerve issue in both hands. On my right hand, this makes the ulnar region of my hand extra sensitive. Unfortunately with the MX Master 3, that's exactly the portion of my hand that is dragging against the mouse pad (I have pretty large hands). I read that a vertical mouse can help with cubital or carpal tunnel symptoms, and based on my experience with the MX line, I thought the MX Vertical would be the perfect replacement. It hasn't quite lived up to those hopes. To be clear, there is nothing bad about it. The main disappointment is of course the scroll wheel. Once you've used the wheel on that mouse, everything just pales in comparison. One spin could make that wheel scroll for up to 10-15 seconds; the wheel on the MX Vertical stops instantly. The MX Master 3 has a button that switches the wheel between buttery smooth scrolling and a ratcheting effect. The MX Vertical has only one mode. It's not even a tilt wheel. Also disappointing is the lack of additional buttons. It has the two thumb buttons, and there's a handy button on top for adjusting sensitivity on the fly. That's it in terms of additional functionality. It should be noted that the functions for these buttons can be customized using Logitech's software on both mice, and you can even set it on an application-by-application basis; for instance the button I use for "back" when I'm using Chrome automatically switches to inputting the letter B for use in a game I'm playing. It's very useful, and quite frankly makes the lack of additional buttons on the Vertical more disappointing. The main reason I purchased was for the ergonomics, and it certainly doesn't disappoint there. Going back to a regular mouse, you can really feel the difference in strain; it's slight in the moment, but it adds up. If you put your arm out like you are going to shake someones hand, that the arm/hand position when using this mouse. Now do the same, but turn your palm down toward the floor; that's the position using a regular mouse. It's not difficult, but it definitely involves more strain. I'll be keeping the mouse just for the ergonomics. But what makes it so tough to swallow is that this is the same price as the MX Master 3, which is superior in literally every other way. I didn't even touch on this because my desk is covered in a giant mouse pad so for me its not an issue, but the MX Master 3 can track on basically any surface including glass, while the MX vertical requires a more traditional surface. I can't imagine that all the additional technology packed into the MX Master 3 costs less than just changing the orientation of the mouse. So it kind of feels like Logitech is taking advantage of people who need it. If this mouse had feature parity with the MX Master 3, I think they could've charged more than $99, and it still would've been a better deal than the current iteration is. Logitech, if you put that lovely scroll wheel on a vertical mouse, hit me up. I'll give you my first born.

Excellent choice
Easily the best mouse I’ve had. And trust me I’ve had a few. It fits my tiny hands very well. I love the customizable buttons: really helps speed up work flow. Charge lasts for months.

Best wireless ergonomic mouse on the market
Great for long hours of work (especially if you’re back to work prior to having RSI). Works a treat in productivity scenarios and surprisingly is a great gaming mouse too (Cyberpunk, Overwatch etc). Battery is practically infinite, even after a year of use only needed to recharge it once.

Vale la pena la inversión.
Excelente compra.

Extraordinary for work not so much for gaming
pros and cons as well as overall rating at the end After using the Logitech MX Vertical Wireless Mouse for work every day, I can say it's one of the most interesting ergonomic upgrades I've tried. If you're used to a conventional mouse, it definitely takes some time to get used to. The vertical grip changes how your hand moves, how your wrist rests, and even how you aim the cursor. The first couple of days feel strange, almost like learning a new tool, but once your hand adapts, the comfort improvement becomes obvious. The biggest benefit is how it affects long work sessions. With a traditional mouse, your wrist twists inward, putting pressure on the forearm. The MX Vertical keeps your hand in a natural handshake position, and that alone reduces strain dramatically. After hours of use, my wrist and arm feel noticeably more relaxed. It's not a gimmick, the ergonomic design genuinely helps. Tracking is smooth and precise for productivity tasks. Scrolling, selecting text, navigating multiple monitors, and general office work all feel great. The buttons have a soft, premium click, and the rubberized grip feels secure without being sticky. Logitech's software adds customization for sensitivity, buttons, and flow between devices, which is a nice bonus. Now, for gaming, I would still not use it for gaming. The shape isn't ideal for fast movements, flicks, or rapid button presses. It's built for comfort, not performance. You can play games with it, but it's not something I'd choose for FPS or action titles. Battery life is strong, and USB‐C charging is convenient. The mouse feels well‐built, and the weight distribution keeps it stable on the desk. Overall, the MX Vertical is a fantastic choice for long hours of work, especially if you deal with wrist or forearm discomfort. It's not a gaming mouse, but it excels at what it's designed for: comfort and ergonomics. Pros: Excellent ergonomic design that reduces wrist and arm strain Comfortable for long work sessions Smooth tracking and responsive buttons Premium build quality and rubberized grip Strong battery life with USB‐C charging Great customization through Logitech software Cons: Takes time to get used to if you're used to a traditional mouse Not suitable for gaming or fast‐paced use Higher price compared to standard mice Overall rating: 8.9/10 I hope this was helpful
