DimplexPLX100 1kw Electronic controlled Panel Heater EcoDesign Compliant

I bought this to replace an old Nobo heater that the programmer had gone bonkers. This heats up really quickly and seems more efficient. I like the touch button menu I find it easier to use than the spongy buttons on the Nobo and the display is very clear. It was a bit of a struggle getting the heater on to the wall brackets until you get it lined up exactly, it took two of us in the end, one to hold it and one to guide it on to the brackets. Worth the effort though. I will probably replace all the old heaters with this one when I get round to it.

The heater itself is very good. Easy to use, efficient, good timer settings etc. Was perfect to keep the chill off our toddlers’ bedroom during the cold Highlands of Scotland winter nights. However, ours stopped working at 11 months hence only 3 stars. Replacement on the way and hopefully this was just an anomaly as our last Dimplex heaters lasted 7 years.

I bought this wall heater to replace another from the same manufacturer that had failed after approximately 14 years so decided to go with Dimplex again. It was well packaged and easy to install, but best of all the wall bracket was identical to the one it replaced, so no drilling ! Dimplex have also made it easier to use than older models with easy to select functions.

Took out old storage heaters as they were costly to use even on eco7. Installed 2 in a small 1 bed property. The heat and ease of use is great. You do need to wire to a spur and not a 3 pin plug.I’ve waited a few months before leaving a review. They are working well on a manual setting.

I have this heater for just under a year amd it got unlocked as i forgot a pin. Now i tried everything possible even writing to dimplex amd tried every suggestion online available but nothing works amd Dimpley never got back to me. Therefore i wish if the panel wasn’t there or either it shoukd he user friendly to override pin amd password which doesn’t seem to work. what a waste of £210 i spent.

I have 2 of these heaters installed in a garden office/playroom and so far all working great. I like the fact the heaters detect when the kids leave the door open and switch off. Easy to use..

Product arrived as expected however has no plug on it and no instruction manual you have to down load one.

The heater was as expected but the enclosed fitting instruction had an error as the measurements given for drilling the holes for the frame did not match the actual holes on the frame
