I love my New Zoom! I sold my DJI Phantom 3 Pro and my DJI Spark to get this one. I love the Zoom!!! It’s not only easy to fly, but it takes amazing video and pictures! I can’t wait to use it at our summer camp and to take it hunting! I want to film some hunts but will need to figure out how to do it w/ out spooning the quarry! The clarity when I put it on my laptop was mind blowing!!!!! I haven’t shot the videos that I want to yet but just so simple shots around the house, but I’m stunned by how amazing the colors pop and the incredible clarity. The Zoom option is the reason I bought it and I was really pleased w/ how much it can zoom in! I often will forget I have it on and only later when descending realize how far I’m up! It is the best DJI drone I’ve owned and I think their best product out thus far! If your thinking about it, do it! I promise you’ll won’t be disappointed and it will blow you away w/ the pics and videos you can take! Happy flying

The battery could last longer, but solved the issue buying the pack with 2 additional batteries (and a carrying case). It's a mind blowing drone, the type of thing that 3 years ago would have definitely be science fiction. I just can't get enough of it, I'm flying at least an average of 1 hour a day (wish could have more time to do it), and taking the best pictures of my life while having tons of fun. Make sure you get the carrying case..., I can't imagine not having one at this point in time. The drone is the perfect complement for whoever loves traveling, fishing, camping, sports, or any other outdoor activities, however, I have to say that my experience is unique, since I live in a country that still didn't regulate drones, and therefore, i have a lot of freedom for what I whatever I want to use it for. My kid plays tennis, it's drone time, I go fishing, it's drone time, going biking?, drone time, BBQ with friends?, drone time..., what can I say?, it's my best friend now.

If you are a person that doesn't care that much of postproduction and just wants to have fun with your drone, you should get the MAVIC 2 ZOOM because of its new zoom feature and because it's also cheaper at price point. If you are upgrading from a Phantom, Parrot... and just want to get something really different in terms of portability and features you should get the MAVIC 2 (Zoom or Pro version). If you are upgrading from a MAVIC Pro (1), I don't think that you are going to find a lot of new things on the Mavic 2 Zoom because it has the same sensor. You should get the Mavic 2 Pro to really notice the camera quality. This is all, I hope that now you really know which one to choose.

I have had my Mavic 2 Zoom for a couple of months, and have had absolutely no problems at all. I spent a lot of time watching tutorial videos on the Internet before making this purchase, so I think I was already pretty familiar with how the drone operated. I would encourage anybody contemplating making this purchase to do the same. This is my second DJI drone. I also have a Phantom 3 Standard. Needless to say, this Mavic 2 Zoom is in a whole different league. I fly drones purely for fun. I have no intention of doing anything commercial with them. This is just a fun hobby for me, and this drone does not disappoint.

This is my second drone. My first was a Spark which my son has “inherited” merry Christmas. To start with I live in the middle of nowhere at high elevation. So I’m not effected by the NFZ zones that have plagued others. While we should never fly near airports, etc. I understand their plight. I’d also love to fly into the clouds, but the 400 ft ceiling is understandable. Registration with the FAA was quick, easy and only $5. I have flown for a few weeks now and have been having a great time. Only gone about 2.3 miles max distance to date, but with no real signal loss. Primarily I’m using 2.7k 60 FPS or 4k 30fps and the video quality is excellent when played directly into my 4K Sony tv. Not too bad on an iMac either. I have flown in winds up to almost 30 mph and temperatures in to the teens with no major problems, other than my fingers wanting to fall off. Lowest battery voltage was about 3.7 in the coldest temperatures. You will get attitude warnings at higher wind speeds, making your front sensors worthless, so fly with care. I love the zoom feature even if the picture quality is a little lower than the Pro. I’m not a professional photographer and this one is $200 less at the moment.

I had to send drone to service center due to getting bad picture of Gimbal, at first I thought it’s great service, they sent me shipping label, eventually I found out having 3 emails per day and non of them were on same thread. I had not sent drone out yet that I received an email that they can replace my drone, I responded how did you diagnose my drone without possession it, eventually I sent out the drone and got email “According to the analysis, no user-described abnormality was found after checking all the available flight controller data and flight record” however I was asked to pay for repair in same email “NO issue and pay for repair lol”. I asked to have a call from supervisor, he called without understanding the issue, I asked him to read dozen emails and call me back, he called back with some non-sense excuses and asked to pay deductible to replace drone, he didn’t really answer my questions. Long story short, this company cannot fix their products , they charge you for Care Refresh and deductible even your drone does not have main issue to replace it , it you got serious damages on your drone then it might be good deal otherwise they treat you unfairly. DJI rejected to check the battery and asking only money to replace entire drone." they have had this conclusion before possession the drone and now making excuses , good to have everything written!

It’s a great drone! But mine came with gymbal overload issues. When the message comes I had to take it down and let it sitting for some minutes.after cooling down start working fine! I preferred to return it. But I will buy it again in s few months. Hopefully it will be fix. The zoom feature and the extended fly time it’s great. I also have the spark. And this magic 2 zoom is in a completely different league. Hard to compare! I still like the spark. But the ma if offer better camera stability, more dinamic range, zoom capabilities, faster flight and a plethora of sensors,features, and obstacles avoidance that really make a great package. Also having the gimbal movement independently. That you just can drag your finger on the screen and position it is fantastic. The time lapses also deserve mentioning. The looks great!

I purchased this as an open box damaged item but when it arrived it was clear the box had been opened but the device was still in new condition. It's a great drone and there are scores of reviews that detail its capabilities. My only con is that it does not have the upgraded left stick steering capability of the Mavic Air 2. It's just too much fun.

The manufacturer’s package was small, but reusable as a carrying case with a handle, shipped expedited in a bulk box with Canada Post, and here in 2 business days. Build quality of the multi-rotor and rubberized transmitter is good. Spare propellers, cables and a A/C charger were included. I recommend getting a 100W car power inverter and a 100 mbps or U3 micro SDHC card for in-car charging and 4k recording before checkout. By default, the quad stops moving if it detects an obstacle in the way. In Advanced Pilot Assistance System mode, the quad tries to move around an obstacle. To illustrate how good the obstacle avoidance is, I haven’t replaced the original propellers. Flying restrictions are built into the multi-rotor firmware. Do google TRANSPORT CANADA DRONE for regulations, NATIONAL RESEARCH COUNCIL CANADA UAV for where to fly and PARKS CANADA DRONE for offlimits. Get Airmap, Drone Buddy and B4UFLY on your smartphone for weather/flying conditions and fly zones. If you know cameras and post production editing, get a Pro which has more camera settings than a Zoom. If you just want to fly and take photos and videos, get a Zoom.

Muy satisfecho con el dron, desde que lo tienes por primera vez en mano te das cuenta de la calidad de los materiales, nunca tuve el Mavic Pro original para saber la diferencia pero vengo de un Mavic Mini y este es un Upgrade Brutal en todos los aspectos, aunque el Mavic Mini sigue siendo un excelente dron en las condiciones adecuadas, este dron tiene una señal de transmision increible, no he percibido cortes, congelamiento ni nada parecido, a pesar de volar en un area con posibles interferencias. Mucho más estable incluso con vientos moderados, la calidad de la imagen es realmente buena, yo no soy un profesional, es más un hobbie y que me sirve para compartir en redes sociales y quizás algún proyecto pero nada que no sea posible de realizar con lo basico de programas de edición, así que no me hace falta el sensor de 1” del Mavic 2 Pro, y tampoco suelo hacer vuelos en condiciones de poca luz. Por el contrario el Zoom es una característica que te abre tantas posibilidades creativas, en verdad no me arrepiento de la compra, me hace falta probarlo mucho más pero mi primera impresión es que este dron es excelente y lo recomiendo sin duda

El poder ver el mundo o lugar donde vives desde otra perspectiva es simplemente genial, un dron perfecto con un alcance y prestaciones sorprendentes y el zoom es asombroso. La calidad de imagen y vídeo es muy buena y la duración de la batería es suficiente para tener mucho tiempo de diversión aunque mi recomendación es que adquieras una batería extra para que esa diversión no se vea interrumpida.

Il s'agit d'un drone haut de gamme avec des performances très élevées, tant pour le vol que pour la caméra. Ça se pilote très bien, ce n'est pas du tout difficile, surtout grâce à ses fonctions intelligentes, de retour automatique au point de départ, par exemple. Par ailleurs, comme c'est un drone et non un avion, si vous êtes mal pris, vous n'avez qu'à lâcher les commandes et il s'immobilisera sur place. Pratiquez-vous au début dans un endroit très dégagé et assurez-vous de respecter la règlementation de votre pays! S'il vous faut un permis de pilote, assurez-vous de faire l'examen avant l'achat pour ne pas devoir le retourner si vous n'y arrivez pas.
