Bought it as a combo with a steering wheel lock. This is a good product to give thieves a hassle but takes a while to place on your pedal. It takes a few minutes to get it situated. The pin, the holes, the bracing it to the floorboard while using the key have to be lined up to get it on. If you plan to put it on and take it off daily, add 30 minutes and patience to your day. For vehicles you don't drive every day, this is absolutely perfect. 4 out of 5 only because of the hassle putting it on. The brake lock plus a good steering wheel lock combo, and you'll have the best anti theft device in your area. Love hate relationship. You'll die if you're trying to escape Michael Myers during the removal of the brake lock...just sayin

Theft deterent. Locks will only keep honest people honest, and some locks will make other people think twice. This is one of those locks. It is a bit of a hassle to put it into place, but it certainly not going to be broken or easily removed by anyone without a key for it. Adds a bit of peace of mind. My vehicle will not be stolen so easily again.

The u-shaped piece, was well made, but was not opened enough to fit around the gas or the brake pedal. It was to narrow at the end, to fit like it should. So this meant that did not get to use it. What a shame, it is well built, just not for every vehicle in mind...

The quality is good but I had to lay on my seats to get this on. Factually, I had to try and get it on from the passager side. I dont wont to be noticed in doing that. Its good in the since of weight too. However, it has been in my draw the first 🕙 I tried it. I was sweating, and exhausted. Again, I had to get out the vehicle to try and get it on from the passenger side. That was too much and too noticeable for me. I'll give it a two and try it another year in time. Again, it was too MUCH to get on. Try it and see for yourself people.

I bought this for my 2001 Silverado. To secure the brake, the unit has to be placed horizontally, behind the brake arm. Once I get it where I want it, you can tell it would slow a thief down trying to cut through it or use some kind of serious bolt cutters. To this extent, it works as advertised. To set it up, I have to kneel outside the truck and work it into position. The lock mechanism gets the 2 stars here. The key cylinder is extremely loose. This doesn't seem to affect the lock, but it does make for a difficult time pushing the lock bar through the frame. If the key moves slightly while your pushing the bar through, it won't go any further. Same situation when trying to pull the bar back. Here's my biggest concern: this could be very problematic if you needed to get somewhere urgently. In general, this is an effective layer of protection. The drawback is just the hassle of the install and removal.

I've had my honda stolen a few monts ago and got this product, its really great product well built, its a hassle to go under the break pad and put it on, but well worth it.

It doesn’t work for our RAV4 2022 model! Even with the lock on, the pedal can still be pressed and the car can still be started which makes it risky for our car and high chances of still getting stolen! There should be a list of car model mentioned on this page that special mentions what models are compatible with this pedal lock. Cant even send the product back because it costs me 13 dollars!
