fits right, offers the right amount of warmth while being quite comfortable.
Typically i hate hoods, hats, or anything on my head. Cold water hoods are too restrictive, and unless i'm in really cold water, i just dont like traditional hoods. This one fits more like a hat though, and while it is not as warm as a full blown hood, in water from 65 to 75 degrees if offers me the perfect blend between comfort and warmth. Just used it in the Keys, where i am typically in the water for 90 minutes per dive, and without this cap I was shivering by the end of the dive. With it I was great.

Big ENOUGH FOR MASK
Some caps don't even have face opening large enough to put on your mask unless you're getting mask underneath. Not easy to adjust or reposition mask. This fits, saves hair, keeps warm and chin strap keeps it on. SO MUCH BETTER than a swim cap.

I use this cap for open water swimming and it fits great and keeps my head warm.

Love this hood for winter pool swimming
Love the weight of this neoprene hood. I use it over my swim cap for colder workout swims in the outdoor pool for the fall and winter. Love that it does NOT have a visor type piece like so many others, so more streamline. Keeps my ear plugs in place. It's comfortable. I dont feel like I'm wearing anything extra but I sure am warmer.

Keeps me a bit warmer
I like that it keeps me a bit warmer. Velcro is wearing out after about 30 wears. I might try one without the strap
