I would not start with this book but for someone with experience, the book offers unique projects. The two projects that stand out to me are the Mandala Wall Clock and the Butterfly Mobile - they are works of art! Beautiful! Erin Curet also covers molding techniques and mosaic techniques. This book is a well done contemporary look at quilling with good instructions, pictures and unique projects. It will inspire creative quilling.

Photos are excellent quality
One of the better quilling books I've found. Photos are really nice and instructions are clear

A must have book for your quilling library!
This book is a great addition to your quilling library. The step by step instructions with pictures at different stages of the project are helpful. Erin Curet covers the basics in the beginning of the book, mostly stuff an advanced quiller would already know, in the beginning of the book but it's always nice to have reminders and different techniques. There are about 15 projects in the book starting from a very beginner level (the shapes board) to an advanced level (the Mandala Wall Clock). I would not start with this book but for someone with experience, the book offers unique projects. Lots of interesting projects
This book does a good job of explaining the basic shapes you need to learn for quilling. It also covers different tools you can use. There are lots of projects to try, from beginner to complex.

Beautiful Projects with Clear Instructions for Beginners to Advanced Quillers
With this book, Erin Perkins Curet makes it known that Quilling has absolutely changed from the crafty snowflakes & flowers of my childhood, to a Contemporary Art Form. What I like best is the simple, step by step, process with great working photos. You are guided through using tools (new to me!) and through the basic building blocks of each masterpiece, so that you are sure to be a success. I am so excited to be paper crafting again, and to be learning such non traditional methods. Whether you are new to quilling or returning, be prepared to enjoy vibrant color, intense design and creative challenge!

A wonderful book on quilling
This book is everything I hoped for when I ordered a book by someone recommended by so many paper quillers. The author shares her love of the art through wonderfully creative projects unavailable anywhere else.

The art of modern quilling
I just received my book and it is very colorful, not crazy about any of the projects included, the first 26 pages were helpful as I am a beginner, but disappointed that there weren't more just shapes and designs rather than earrings and paper whales, which I did not think looked cute - would have been better to fill in with different flower shapes or teardrop shapes - I will keep the book for some reference guides but was a bit disappointed 😞
