I ordered these cup with lids and straws for an upcoming party. I thought they would be nice to ensure nothing gets spilled. The straws come individually wrapped, I thought that was a nice touch, but they are not exactly easy to get out of the plastic. The bottom of the straw is not flat so that you can poke it through the lid easily and also to help you get every last drop of drink out of the cup. The lids fit tight and are easy to pop on the cup. I did smell a faint smell of plastic or chemical when removed one of the cups from the sleeve. I poured my soft drink into a cup and let it sit for about 5 minutes. Afterwards I took a sip to find the taste a bit altered. I had ordered a set from a different company previously and decided not to use them for the same issue. This is very disappointing. I am not sure what they are using to make these cups but I can say I don’t want to ingest anything harmful and without knowing what this is I am not going to use them. I am extremely sad about this because the set itself is nice

Good for a party but I find them rather too easy to crush or mend when you're even holding the cup in your hand. The kids fit ok but when you have a full cup of drink and you bend the body too much the lid can pop off. So it's a bit sketchy imo. They're no where near the confident hold of a timmies thirst quencher cup or an s-bucks cup.
