Patak's Tikka Masala Curry Cooking Sauce, Medium, 15-Ounce Glass Jars (Pack of 6)

By far the best tasting sauce outside of real Indian restaurant. The flavor is not spicy, it’s authentic. It has many different levels of heat and flavor- deep smokiness with curry flavors and real chilies. Tastes as though it’s been simmering all day. Personally, I start out making the sauce from scratch with onions garlic curry cumin etc and add crushed tomatoes and simmer then add about 1/2 a jar of this sauce and let simmer an additional 20 mins and serve over 2lbs chicken breast. If I’m in a hurry I just use the sauce on it’s own with a little cream.

The sauce is good, I have eaten tikka masala at restaurants, but never used it at home for self dishes until now. We used it once already but more of a custom dish for our cooking abilities. One of the jars arrived partly shattered so small mess but not an issue. Seller processed refund equivalent to the one jar expense. May buy again depending how fast we run through the other 5 jars.

This is my favorite brand to use. I do not have a lot of time to make from scratch and this to me and my family is the closest. We use 3 jars and have leftovers the next day. Ladle it over Basmati or Jasmine rice, and have Naan, and Mint Chutney.

Patak's Tikka Masala Curry Cooking Sauce is delicious. I have bought it many times. My most recent purchase was two packs of 6 jars. In each pack of 6 jars, the glass jars can bang into each other in transit, and are susceptible to breaking. One of my packs arrived with 2 broken jars and an unholy mess of curry sauce covering the entire pack contents, as can be seen in the attached photo. The jars need to be individually wrapped in bubble wrap to avoid this breakage, but the supplier did not do this in my case. It's a great sauce, but I recommend buying it from a supplier that packages the jars more carefully.

I love Indian food so much and my pocket book cannot order out as much as I want it. The whole family loves this meal. I will use either chicken or paneer, throw some peas into it too. It is probably going to end up as one of my subscriptions.

I bought a pack of this product because I tasted one similar to it while visiting Canada. I was so disappointed. It tastes like a vinegar feast, very unlike the one I tried in Canada. I never used the others in the pack.

I've tried various brands of Masala Curry Sauce and this is the best :) It is tasty, not spicy, but savory. To give the chicken more flavor, I saute the chicken in med high heat to sear in the juices with some curry powder prior to adding this sauce. I add green peas, sometimes tofu, or green beans to this as well for some added nutrition.
