Seed Needs Culinary Basil Herb Seed Packet Collection (8 Individual Basil Seed Varieties for Planting) Non-GMO & Untreated Kitchen Herbs to Plant Indoors/Outdoors

Started seeds indoors in Feb and have dozens of healthy plants to replant in the garden this April. All varieties sprouted and have already been using some in recipes! I feel like Herbie Hancock. See what I did there? Basil sprouted in less than 48 hours and are massive by now. Good quality seeds and I’ll buy more next year.

I was a little skeptical buying a variety pack like this. Usually it's filled up with bum seeds but this one is different apparently. All the seeds sprouted for me I shared some with my mother and all the seeds sprouted for her as well. I would definitely buy this pack again. It's got all the varieties that I enjoy.

Most of these seeds have sprouted. The chives and sage did not sprout for me. They seem healthy. I wish this set included mint leaves however. I have trouble sprouting cilantro but these seeds didn’t have a problem. 2 month update - everything grew except for the sage and rosemary.

wanted to let you know that I was really surprised at the quality of the seeds. I had a great propagation rate with these and will certainly buy from you again.

I’ve tried all of the seed varieties from this set in my Growell hydroponic system. The basil, Italian parsley, cilantro, and dill were the most vigorous growers from my first round of plants. The chives sprouted, but didn’t thrive—I’m not sure if that’s because the hydroponic environment isn’t ideal for them or if the seeds are old. Of the oregano seeds I planted (about 4-6 in all), only one sprouted, and that sprout turned into a very spindly, weak plant. I’m now on my second round of planting, and the savory didn’t sprout at all (about 4-6 seeds sown). The borage is off to a startlingly strong start, and everything else has germinated successfully. Notably, there are no date markers on any of the packets, which is odd—every time I’ve purchased seeds in the past, there’s been a clear indication of the year the seeds should be planted. I suspect these seeds are not fresh, or perhaps there’s a mix of ages. It’s also possible that some seeds were mishandled, such as being exposed to excessive heat. The price is good, but the unpredictability of seed quality is problematic. I would not re-purchase this set for that reason.
