Royal Purple Max Boost Octane Booster - 16 oz.

I have used Royal Purple products for many years, the formulation of all their products, from break-in oil to heavy duty gear lube has helped all the vehicles I keep up the maintenance on perform top notch, last longer, save my family a good bit of $$$$$$- I started using their "Max-Boost Octane Booster" when I had a brand new GMC 7.4 Lt. (454 ci.) crate engine installed in my 1994 K-2500, after using the break-in oil 3 changes in 5,000 miles, I had ordered 9.5 to 1 compression pistons for my new engine and knew I would need high octane fuel to allow the beast to run at it's best. With a 4:10 gear ratio I was not expecting more than 10-12 mpg.- after 21,000 miles (using R.P. fuel system treatment & Max-Boost) I get 14-15.5 on the Hwy. (if I keep it under 70 Mph) With a manual 5 speed (NV4500) even at 75-80 Mph. I get 12.5-13 Mpg. I'm a bit excessive when it comes to my truck, as I'm disabled and 84 miles from the Dr. office and 75 miles from the nearest Wal-Mart- N.E. Wyoming winters can be brutal, summer can see temps. near 100- long story short, from -40 to +100 this octane booster is the very best (I use no ethanol fuel) 91 octane fuel and R.P. keeps my outfit purring like a tiger- Thanks Amazon and much thanks Royal Purple for all the fluids in my GMC and my 77 yr. young mother's 2005 Toyota Tundra

A high-performance engine repair is not. • The Royal Purple Track Record: I’ve used their synthetic lubricants in professional and personal contexts for years and they don’t tend to sell garbage. That brand trust is doing some heavy lifting in my 5-star rating, and I’ll own that. • Pour Quality: Bottle design is good, tight cap, no drips, easy to funnel. Sounds minor until you’ve spilled additive on a clear-coated fender. What I’d Tell a Coworker If you have a high-performance vehicle that sits a lot, or you’re stuck with questionable pump gas, this is reasonable cheap insurance. If you’re driving a turbo-four daily and chasing measurable gains, you’ll probably get more honest feedback from someone whose car isn’t already producing supercar power. I’m rating 5 stars on brand reputation and product quality (packaging, formulation claims, pour experience), not on a performance test I’m not equipped to give you. The Wife Approval Factor is neutral, which for a $20 garage chemical is honestly a win. Verdict: Probably best for owners of low-mileage performance vehicles who want preventive fuel quality insurance, not drivers expecting a measurable kick in the pants. Skeptics looking for proof-of-performance should read a review from someone with a more sensitive testbed.

This is some Awesome Octane Booster and seems to work the way it is intended to do so. Ever since I added it to My Fuel, I have noticed that I have more Throttle Response and it seems to have eliminated the Lag. I would use this product again and even plan on using it in the Street Bike

Give me better, gas mileage

Okay here is what u need to understand most cheaper octane booster claim to raise 3-8 points thant is on .3-.8 octane. This product raises it 3 full numbers so 91 octane would be 94 octane. What is not clear and i cant find a chart is how many gallons it does that with it says up to 25 gallons but i assume it is very similar to torco and torcos top claimed rating is with 5 gallons. Torco also comes in a 32oz can vs this being 16oz. I am sure it is either 5 or Ten gallons of gas and u get 3 full numbers. I mixed a full can with 10 gallons in my 2010 Z1 Turbo snowmobiles with a 4 stage tune. When i go to stage 2 with 91 octane i get a onow light at higer throttle. With this one can mixed with 10 galoons it only came up once all day so that is a huge improvement! Race fuel is way too expensive to but and race fuel is nothing more than normal gasoline with additives just like 93 octane premium is at the pump. I need 91 octane because it has bot ethonal. This product as with torco contains mmt which is a know octan booster. This product is legit but i would not have more than 10 gallons in the tank when u mix it or use 2 cans. Also u add when empty then add gas to mix it up. Torco is still a but better ounce for ounce but this is a very close second and a few buck cheaper. It also fits in my rear bag on my sled so i can add it at gas stops at on the trails.

Great stuff! I used this with my 2016 M4 GTS and it is flawless. I put this in when my gas was running low and then I filled up my tank so everything can mix in. To be honest I was skeptical at first but it did give me a noticeable performance boost. A bit of background, I was staying in California during the time of testing and the only available gas there is 91 octane instead of the recommended 93 needed for my car. Yes it is not that big of a difference you may think, but my tests show otherwise. I will dyno the car later on to prove my word. The car sounds much more aggressive and burbles more, the engine just sounds much happier when this in the tank. I also tried it with my 2013 Honda Accord in which it didn’t have a noticeable difference. As for MPG, it does not make any difference whatsoever, at least for my cars. I’d highly recommend this for cars which have higher compression ratios that can benefit from high octane. 10/10 in my book, I use this every fill up, got one in my trunk at all times.

Attenzione che essendo un booster a base di MMT, pur essendo un ottimo innalzatore del numero di ottano, può lasciare depositi di ossido di manganese, sporcando candele, valvole, catalizzatore e sonda lambda. Gli additivi detergenti aiutano tuttavia a pulire gli iniettori, e l'effetto antidetonazione in proporzione alla quantità di prodotto è sensibilmente superiore a molti altri prodotti. E' quindi indicato all'utilizzo su autovetture più a indirizzo sportivo che utilitarie modificate (quindi senza catalizzatore e utilizzate saltuariamente) e magari da usare solo in occasioni specifiche ove si prevede di tirare l'auto e si vuole ridurre al minimo il rischio di detonazione anticipata, oppure come soluzione di emergenza qualora ci si dovesse trovare in luoghi sprovvisti di distributore con 100 ottani. Ne sconsiglierei l'utilizzo continuativo.

To start, I’m normally not one for leaving reviews, but I honestly felt this product deserved it. So when I researched this product, it sounded great, but I was still sceptical. Now that I have used it in my 2015 Ram 1500, I can honestly say, that it is a solid product & I can definitely feel the HP difference, the truck pulls way harder & is very responsive. I do recommend this for sure.
