Maybe the most incredible hair product I’ve ever purchased.
I’ve been bleaching my hair/roots for the last 6 years. I don't have any lowlights or highlights. DIY bleachers will know – it’s a whole process. I’ve been getting tired of it lately...Letting my hair get dirty and build up oils before bleaching, double processing (I’m a dark, dark blonde naturally), letting your hair recover, toning, the smell, everything...Plus it just seems bad to do long term. I looked for alternatives and found this product. On the brand’s website, a stylist shows in a video how she used this product (100.11) to take a client’s hair from pretty much my natural color to light blonde in one go. I figured I’d give it a shot. See the before/after photos for yourself. I love the result and it only took 30 minutes. My hair was truly dark blonde before applying, prob the low end of the spectrum of what this could realistically lift. Note the "After" photos were taken in warm lighting indoors. Natural light the hair looks more ashy. It was the same process as bleaching – section hair, apply. The directions say to really saturate with product so that’s what I did. I left it on 30 min and did a ratio of 1:1.5 product to 30 vol developer. I didn't even leave on my top/crown sections the full 30 min. FYI it does make your scalp tingle a LOT (maybe it has hydrogen peroxide?) so don’t freak out lol. It’s incredible. It does look more “natural” and ashy blonde – but I think it looks more natural than anytime I’ve bleached it and I was going for a more natural, gradient look. I used to do a more icy, platinum blonde all over. If that’s what you want, I think you’re better off bleaching unless you’re already a blonde that’s only a few shades lighter. 10 out of 5 stars! I can't recommend it enough, just try it!!

Great hair product
Takes brass out of hair color and isn’t harsh on my hair.

Great product, counters orange tones and covers grays
I have naturally ashy dark blonde hair (highlighted), about 15 % grey. I started dying my roots to cover the grey 7-8 years ago and have been annoyed that every dye I’ve tried pulls orange (I’ve probably tried every 6 and 7 level ash or neutral dye I could get my hands on every way I could get professional dyes as a non professional). This is literally the ONLY one I have found that counters the orange and gives me the dark blonde shade closest to my roots that I’ve been looking for. I have tried to find a blue based dark ash blonde dye for literally YEARS (it’s amazing how hard it is to find a dye where the maker tells you what the base color is! Many ash dyes have a green base, which does NOT counteract orange tones effectively). I’ve tried using blue additives and basically creating my own dyes (I would NOT recommend this to people not familiar with hair dye chemistry or color theory), to varying degrees of success, but always with more brass/orange than I wanted. This is seriously a holy grail product for me. I hope they always sell it on Amazon!

Did not work
I have been doing balayage on myself for 10+ years. I typically use sally wella but thought I would try something else that may be less harsh. Did this 1:2 20% developer on damp hair first (like I normally would) and nothing happened. I then did it on my dry hair a few days later to try again. Hair was still quite orange after. Ended up using the whole bottle for both sessions as I have a lot of hair. Went out and got wella T 14 and it worked so… it was this product not working. Waste of time and money

The BEST Cool/White Toner
As a wig hobbyist, I'm always trying out new formulas/toners for achieving the colors I want. This one is the best for cool, high-level toners, no questions asked. There is SO much product in the tube so it's well worth the price. This will turn a standard yellow-blonde 16x3 lacefront WHITE. Be advised though, I mixed it with a few different 20 developer formulas and different developers will vary in resulting tone. The Clairol Pure White 20 developer I think worked the best. But it moves FAST, so watch it carefully because it can overtone. White toning is typically not beginner friendly, so be sure to do your research before diving in. Anyway, love the product and I’ll never buy another brand of toner again!

Toner did the trick
Bleached my hair 3 weeks ago. Went from a dyed dark brown over old highlights. My hair turned orange yellow ofcouse. I used a toner that wasn't the right level to cover it. Ended up having orange/yellow hair for three weeks while I waited for my hair to recover enough to hit it with the bleach for a second time. Bleached it a second time and managed to get some more orange out. The ends were still very brassy. Decided beforehand I wasn't going to bleach my hair for a third time so I gave this new toner a go. I used Intense Pearl Blonde Toner 100.21. I suspected since my hair was still a 9/10 it wouldn't get all the orange out. (The images tagged "Before" are after the second bleaching) I was wrong. It did the trick. No more orange/yellow hair. I left it on for thirty minutes with 20 vol. The cream toner didn't turn purple. It actually turned sorta gray which was worrisome. However, once I rinsed it off my hair everything was all good. White blonde hair. It wasn't as pure a white as their website videos but that's to be expected since this was a level 10 toner. Please forgive the stringy/greaseyness of my hair. These images were taken pretty much directly after toning it. My hair was still damp and absolutely covered in Olaplex #6 to repair damage. Anyways, point being. Great results for my fine thickness hair. I put in multiple images so you could see the whole process. I will say I did use a dye remover twice before the first bleaching so I started at a medium brown.
