Easy to install, fill, and use.
Mounting is pretty simple, and it comes with the screws and drywall anchors needed to mount in most places. You will need a drill for the anchors. If you are comfortable using drywall anchors then this will be a breeze to set up. If not, a handyman would get it installed in about five minutes. It does require 4 "AA" batteries. I have only been running this for a few weeks now so I don't know how long they will last, but my guess is quite a while. I waited a few weeks of use before reviewing because I wanted to check for what I find is a common weakness for automated soap dispensers. Many I have used previously, including the one this replaced, would have just a tiny leak which would build up a bit of soap over time right below the dispenser. This one so far has not given me any such puddles of soap. Opening the dispenser cabinet and removing the soap reservoir is easy. The reservoir holds a good amount of soap so refilling has long spans between. Just a previous experience note: with a large reservoir I would put it at a sink that gets decent use. Some environments can wind up drying out soaps that don't get regular use. I do like it will use pretty much any liquid hand soap so it opens the option to use quantity purchases to save long term costs (note the drying out problem above for your stored liquid soaps as well). Overall: this dispenser is easy to install, is easy to fill, and it works as expected.

Look Ma, No Hands
I never would have thought to use one of these at home but it really makes sense. In our guest bathroom we have very little counter space. Even putting a pump soap dispenser on the counter took up valuable space. This solve the problem. Its up on the wall and off the counter. It also works perfectly with the regular liquid soap we already use. It mounts with 4 screws or alternatively with little square with a sticky back that you can put on smooth surfaces without screws or drilling. I was planning on drilling and mounting it but decided to give the screw-less method a try. We have smooth drywall in our bathroom. So far so good. The dispenser is pretty heavy when filled with soap due to its large reservoir so it may eventually pull free. If it does, I'll mount it traditionally. But for now it's holding fast. It works perfectly. I just put my hand under it and it dispenses a perfect dollop of liquid soap. It also does not seem to drip on the counter when not in use. This is good. One small disappointment. This dispenser is designed to work with regular liquid soap, foam, or spray soap. It requires a different nozzle for each. It only comes with the regular liquid soap nozzle. The other nozzles do not appear to be available on Amazon. So for now, it's just liquid soap.

Suitable for home use, too delicate for rough handling, instructions lack clarity
This review is for the EnBath 40oz capacity automatic soap dispenser sold by Brighter Ventures. We installed the dispenser next to the utility sink in our garage. My husband thinks it is great to use it after work to clean his hands of dirt and grime without having to touch anything except the water faucet when ready to rinse. The instructions are poorly written and missing information and clarity. Raises too many questions and creates uncertainty about how to install and use the dispenser. The instructions do not include a clear description or explanation of all the parts nor where to buy replacement parts. However, in the product-packaging box is an insert that provides contact information to call/text or email for help. The outside of the product-packaging box and included instructions indicate three different โpump headsโ for the soap dispenser: Foam, Spray, and Soap. In the box, there is only the โSoapโ pump head. There is no mention about where to find the Foam or Spray pump heads (also referred to as โmodesโ), or whether the โSoapโ mode could somehow convert into the Foam or Spray modes. To open the front panel, Installation Step 1 instructs the user to โhold and push the panel with both hands in the opposite directionโ. That method is unnecessary and perhaps should never be used due to the delicate nature of the panel and its hinges. Rather, we figured the way to open the front panel is to gently press down on the button that is at the top of the panel. (If the panel is locked, first unlock it using the included key - turn the key to the right to unlock - and then press the button.) Unfortunately, the dispenser I received has a non-working lock mechanism. It does not work at all. The key does not turn the lock. The lock will not budge. Luckily, the lock is stuck in the unlocked position, so at least we can open the panel when necessary. Otherwise, we might have to risk that โhold and pullโ strategy of instructions Figure A. You can either use the included adhesive, plastic mounting pad or drill mount the unit to the wall with the included screws and their screw anchors. We installed the unit using screws and anchors. We decided to go with the AA battery-powered option for a couple of reasons: an electrical adapter of unknown specification and cost would need to be purchased separately, and we do not want electrical wiring near water due to safety concern. The unit is now fully installed and operating effectively and efficiently, except for the locking mechanism that arrived non-functioning and remains stuck in the unlocked position. The sensor that causes the soap to be dispensed is working great, and the soap dispenses neatly and consistently. There is no after-drip. Refilling the soap reservoir is easy to do, as long as you know how to open the front panel. I think the automatic soap dispenser is suitable for home use but should be handled with care. I do not think this plastic product could withstand commercial use or rough handling.

Consistent Sensing and Prompt Dispensing
Installed this unit over our home wash basin in the laundry room using battery power (4x AA). There are always projects and, for some, you'd rather touch as little as possible when it's time to wash up. The unit is easy to install in drywall using the included anchors and screws. While it is a bit big for home use, the extra capacity is nice and it would work perfectly for business use with a lot more washroom traffic. The unit is filled with Softsoap [R] liquid hand soap and the unit has no problem with dispensing something of its viscosity. The soap container has a nice, large opening for filling without the need of a funnel and a cap that installs and removes easily with one hand. The soap container can also be removed easily--a good thing if cleaning is ever required. Soaps will dry and clog if not used often. So far, when not in use, the dispenser has not leaked soap. The batteries are installed in the main unit with the sensor. The main unit is removable for ease of changing the batteries. While the battery cover is a bit quirky to put back on, once open there is a large space that makes battery removal and installation very easy. A switch lets you select battery or wall plug (not included) power. There is no 'OFF' position so, when using batteries, set it to wall power for 'OFF' and vice versa. Note that the soap container/dispenser must be removed before the main unit with the batteries can be removed. Everything is held in place with tabs; no screws involved. The good part about this is no screws so no screwdriver needed and no rusted screws from water. The downside is that the plastic tabs are not overly robust and may break from a hurried employee trying to remove or install parts. The soap dispenser is installed less than a foot above the handles of the sink. It has allowed turning on and off the faucet and using other items stored near the faucet handles without setting off the soap dispenser.

Not bad once it's put up
So let's start by saying the instructions are the worst! So it's very good to have someone talk you through some of the stuff for starters picture that shows how to open it does not mention that you have to push down the key and then pull it open. I wish I had known that before spending a day and a half to do the review because I couldn't get it open. That was extremely frustrating. That alone is why it lost the star! Then you make sure that the batteries are in right double a batteries which they only mentioned 1.5 but it's just simply double a batteries which I'm very glad I had. You have to make sure that they are incorrectly and tight in order for it to register. It has a DC port which gives you the capability of using a power cord but it is not included. I do like having the option of either screwing it into the wall or actually sticking it on the wall because my bathroom is ceramic tile and there is no way of screwing it into the wall so the sticky tape is perfect. There are no indications in the instructions on how to use the sticky tape so I guess it's self-explanatory. If you've ever used sticky tape to hang objects you know to measure where it's going to be on the wall, stick the tape and then let the tape stick before installing product so that it will hold better. There is an illustration of how to use the soap variations (three different ways) but I guess it'll take a little time to figure that one out too, so for now I'll use it the way it is. You should be able to use it as foam, spray or just soap. It's actually pretty cute once I finally got it up but the delay in opening the unit was the worst part so hopefully this will help so no one else goes through that. Again, just press down the key area first and then pull it open. I actually broke a nail trying to force it open without that bit of information lol. The instructions do say add water to the liquid soap so that the pump head doesn't get clogged. Overall once it's put together and you get it up it's actually pretty handy to have. But the lack of instruction made it lose one star

Impressive Quality - Works Great!
I love this soap dispenser and I don't think I will go back to a stand alone soap pump again! This is very impressive - it is made of quality materials, very durable and looks great! It has a very large reservoir which will last a long time without having to refill - a definite plus for me! It was super easy to install and it has a lift out container inside with a large opening for easy filling. You can turn on the automatic feature or leave it on. But you just put your hand under the sensor and it works perfectly! No more touching surfaces with filthy hands! I put mine over the laundy room sink and I use it all the time! It has a light to show you to refill - super handy and appreciated feature! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND! It is so convenient and is made so well. I love products that make my life so much easier!
