Price was good and the mount is surprisingly sturdy with rubberised coating for all surfaces contacting the flip speaker. I had no hesitation about using it upside-down on a campervan ceiling to hold my Flip 6 speaker

This is a nice and simple way of mounting your speaker to a variety of surfaces. In the kit you get the bracket, straps and some fixings. Fixing where you want is simply and straight forward, screw it to the wall using the supplied fixings - I've put some heavy duty velcro on the back of it so I can move it between my van and house. The bracket is well made, I like that it is metal to prevent any chance of breaking and the straps are nice and strong.

Does what it says, but awkward to install upside down under a desk. That was the only issue, there's nothing else wrong with it from what I can see. It's a permanent installation with screws and holds JBL speakers or the like using high quality strong Velcro straps and a metal mount with foam padding to protect the speaker from any damage. Installation requires either a hammer or a drill you have a choice to use either, for hammer it's simple but awkward if you installing it on a ceiling level, before putting the straps on just mark when you want it to go by putting a pen through the holes, then tap nails in gently to make some semi deep holes which helps install it if you have nobody there to help you hold it on, hold the product on and use hands to poke the nails into the surface through the product, then whilst holding the mount with one hand you can tap the rest of the nail in, then you can tap the other nails in without holding the mount. Easier method would be drilled, drill holes into the pen marks with the size of the plastic anchors, then tap those anchors into the surface, if you use a hammer to do this do it gently because they can break easy. Then mount over the surface and screw the screws in using a screwdriver or drill. Drill method is also easier to remove if you decide to put it somewhere else you would need more plastic anchors though. Allo parts are high quality materials except maybe the foam padding that will eventually bend or break over time, and straps are large enough to hold a large JBL speaker easily and gives lee-way for a larger item. Overall I think it's a fantastic item, maybe a little expensive for 16 quid, probably due to metal parts being virtually indestructible and high quality, but would be nice to have some spare screws and parts if you decide to move it later on. Want to note you don't get the speaker, just the mount.
