Works like a Charm
Like most of us I have a work computer that they have progressively locked down. I have a personal laptop and since i work at home I did not want to have to plug in and unplug when I wanted to switch between them. I have 3 monitors and now with this I have two computers and switch between them with a press of a button. Easy set up and happy to have it. It does take a few seconds to switch, but not overly long. I tried several solutions and none worked. Key factor is to have thunderbolt connection. Good value for the money.

The perfect tool for switching between PCs.
I have my own PC for gaming and music. I have a separate PC for work. I have these separate because I run Linux on my PC, and I use Windows for my work PC. I would get tired of disconnecting all of the cables from one PC and switch to the other PC, it was very time consuming, and would just cut into my workday. I didn't even know that KVM switches existed until a few months ago, and I certainly did not expect them to work as well as this one does.PROSIt's the prefect setup for my multi-display connections to both of my computers. The input and outputs are meant for one HDMI cable and two DisplayPort cables, so you can have up to three displays. The switch also includes several cables and the correct USB cables for easy connectivity.Functionally, it's very simple and easy to use. There's a button on the switch itself that will allow you to switch between both inputs. You can also hook up the small auxiliary switch that connects to the switch via Micro USB. I have my auxiliary switch mounted to the top of my desk and the switch itself mounted underneath my desk for a cleaner appearance, and easy switching.I have looked into other KVM switches of similar quality and features, and they tend to go for almost 3x the price I paid for this one. The price on this KVM switch was more than reasonable, and far less painful to pay vs. the larger tech names. So far, it has performed just as well as the others claim to, at far less money.CONSI have read a few reviews that state that they have noticed minor freezing/flickering. I have noticed that on input 2 from time to time, but it has never happened to me on input 1. It's slightly annoying when it happens, but it's not bad enough to make me want to give this a lower rating, as it still performs very well.VERDICTOverall, it's a great KVM switch that fully delivers on functionality and value. It works exactly as advertised, and for a fraction of the price of other KVM switches. It was easy to mount and connect all of my displays and computers, plus my mouse, keyboard, and dongle for the headset. If you need a device to help you switch seamlessly between two computers, this is a great option.

#2 HDMI Flickering is a real problem.
Like other reviewers, my switch is having a hard time on #2 output, and it flickers my monitor quite regularly. Unfortunately, thatโs my main monitor and audio source, so when it flickers it all goes out and comes back. I expected this behavior going into the purchase, I just didnโt expect it to happen every few seconds. It wasnโt always this bad, was fine the first few days, but has gotten progressively worse. Iโve moved #2 to #1 to make sure that solves the problem. New #2 doesnโt require the hdmi port, as itโs from my gaming rig directly to the monitor using a quality DP cable. All other features of the switch seem to be working as intended.

USB Ports Stopped Working
Bought in February. Itโs now July. USBs on KVM all started not working out of the blue. Have switched usbs, cords, turned off- on etc. At first it was just on switch 2 where the usbs werenโt working and then within a day its both 1/2. Before this- was great.

One Plug to Rule Them All
Right now Iโm using a laptop with a broken screen, which means my entire setup depends on external monitors. So Iโve got a full monitor array at home, plus a portable monitor for when Iโm on the go. This machine pulls double duty as both my desktop and my travel setup, which usually means a lot of plugging and unplugging cables every time I move it.Thatโs where this switch comes in, and it has made things so much easier. Iโve got my mouse, external drives, and multiple monitors all connected through this one device. Now when I need to take my laptop and go, I just unplug a single connection instead of tearing down my entire setup. When I plug it back in, everything is right where I left it!It handles all the traffic cleanly, no noticeable drop in display quality, which is important because my laptopโs graphics card is still doing the heavy lifting even if the screen itself is out of commission. If youโre running a multi-monitor setup and youโre tired of constantly plugging and unplugging everything, this is exactly the kind of solution youโre looking for.Final answer? Simple idea. Big quality-of-life upgrade!

Works really good
This has been working quite well for me for the past 45 days or so. One rig is Linux and one is Windows. Linux hates kvm switch. Windows loves kvm switch. Linux I can max out all 3 screens 120hz before bandwidth snaps. Windows I can max out to 144hz all 3 screens before bandwidth snaps. Linux sometimes have to turn off kvm switch for a few minutes before it decides to work again. Windows it works everytime no issues. I cast the blame on Ubuntu. So 5 stars for a good kvm switch at a decent price.

Good quality USB switcher that does its job well!
Product:- USB 3.0 Switch 2 Computers, USB Switcher 2 in 2 Out for Two PC Share 2 USB Devices, Mouse, Keyboard, Scanner, PrinterPros:- This USB 3.0 switch is a nice improvement to my quality of life. I no longer need to unplug my devices to use them between 2 computers. At the press of a button it switches! It's that easy. ๐- Included are 2 USB cables to connect to your computers.- The housing of the body is good qualityโmetal construction.- I don't notice any latency between my mouse/keyboard actions and the responses.Cons:- One port is USB 3.0 and the other is USB 2.0. I know it's meant for a mouse or keyboard, but 2 USB 3.0 ports would have been the play.

So useful in so many ways.
The main idea was to be able to use only 1 keyb/mouse set to control both my own PC and other secondary units belonging to friends or relatives that I need to work on from time to time. Itโs already a bit of a mess around my station, so the extra cables required for those computers, especially the extra keyboard + mouse, were driving me up the wall, before even starting the job. To keep the clutter to a minimum, Iโve been using mini keyboards with built in trackpads, but those are really meant for controlling streaming devices, not for any kind of serious work.My headless NAS will occasionally be that second unit, when remote access is not an option.I donโt know if Iโll ever need to share an external drive between 2 PCs and choose to do it through this switch. Anything that needs to be shared, should already be somewhere on the NAS, not on external HDDs. To be honest, Iโd rather avoid using the switch for sharing any external media, unless I really have no other choice.Itโs mentioned several times in the ad that only 1 computer at a time is connected to the external device. No kidding! Iโm not too worried about the connecting part during the switchover. But if that device happens to any type of storage device, I become very interested in the โdisconnectionโ part of the deal. Right now, Iโm not trusting the switch and most likely nothing will ever make me trust it will behave like a gentleman with that storage device and that itโll always do the right thing, instead of just yanking it out from one side before shoving into the other side, without mercy; metaphorically speaking, of course. And itโs not like it could ever be tested reliably. Everything might go smoothly during the tests, but then, connecting a different device with a different controller, might turn out to be your biggest bonehead move ever. The included USB cables are surprisingly soft; not at all what youโd expect from such thick cables. I spotted only 1 place where the cablesโ length is mentioned in the ad and... itโs wrong. Itโs either wrong, or Iโm going crazy. The photo says 0.8m. I measured approx. 5โ (1.5m). Whatever. Soon enough, youโll need at least one of them to be much longer. I bet you wonโt find one around the house. As youโre shopping around, take a look at Male-to-Female extensions, as well. The extension might be cheaper than a Male-to-Male cable of same length.

Very compact; Works well, but does not provide USB HID emulation
This switch is very compact, measuring only 4.5 cm wide, 5 cm deep, and 1.5 cm tall. It has a nice solid metal housing, and came with two really thick USB cords to connect it to each device. There are two tiny green LEDs on top that tell you which device is active, but they're recessed too far to be really useful. You need to be looking virtually straight down on the device to be able to see the light through the case holes, although there is significant light leakage right at the button itself, that allows you to see which side is lit up when viewing from a somewhat lower angle.I have the USB switcher connected to a Linux desktop and a windows 11 laptop, and I plugged the dongle from a wireless keyboard+mouse set into it.It works really well for this purpose, and I really like that I can share one keyboard and mouse with both computers, and I love how compact this device is.I noticed that when I push the button, there is a slight lag before the mouse/keyboard work, and the windows 11 machine plays a little 'toot' noise.I looked into the device manager on windows, and ran xinput on Linux, to confirm that when you press the button on the switcher, the devices get disconnected / reconnected to each machine. That explains the switching lag, and the noises windows 11 is making.I reconfirmed this behaviour with a wired mouse, to be sure it wasn't something related to the wireless dongle. I also tried disabling the "USB Root Hub" power saving feature in windows device properties. The bottom line is this device isn't maintaining emulated USB connections to each computer - each button press results in an unplug / plug-in event to each OS.This won't hurt your PC, and as a keyboard/mouse switch, it definitely works. But there are devices out there that can avoid all the unplug/plug-in events.Unrelated to the USB HID emulation, although USB switchers often show this, I would seriously caution anyone from plugging flash drives or external hard drives into this type of device. Pressing the button does not properly eject the drive, so you're seriously risking data corruption unless you remember to eject the device from the PC it's connected to, prior to every switch.

Simple to use, plug and play, quite intuitive
I have a huge computer system at home. Between work, personal, and each family member having at least 2 computers... I've used a lot of switches and a lot of hubs.I've also used a number of items from this brand, and I can't say I've been disappointed by them yet. Everything is really plug and play, no installation required, this switch included. Since UsbA male to male connectors aren't that common, they included 2 of the them in here for you to connect to your two machines. They're thick cables, thicker gauge than the average charging cable, so they're actually pretty good quality and I don't notice any speed draw backs from normal usage.Sadly, this one is only for one USB device/connection, and I haven't tried if I could attach a USB hub to it to extend the number of devices. I think it should work since that's what hubs do, but I haven't done that experiment yet. But for the one device (mouse and keyboard combo with the same wireless dongle) it worked perfectly as it should. Since it's only for one USB, no extra power cable is needed to power the switch. Also, no extension is button is given, so you need to make sure the whole switch is in a conveniently accessible position so you can press the button as needed.[ This is a review for:USB 3.0 Switch 2 Computers, USB Switcher 2 in 2 Out for Two PC Share 2 USB Devices, Mouse, Keyboard, Scanner, Printer ]

USB device switcher with a tiny footprint
KCEVE USB 3.0 Switch 2 Computers, USB Switcher 2 in 2 Out for Two PC Share 2 USB Devices, Mouse, Keyboard, Scanner, PrinterFirst off, the included USB to USB cables to connect to the 2 computers are BEEFY! Maybe I'm just used to having inexpensive USB cables but I was impressed by their quality. Secondly this little guy is so ity bitty! I appreciate when devices has a small foot print on my desk. The actual switch works well for my needs, simply connecting my wired mouse and keyboard to 2 computers. One side is marked 1 and 2, these are your connections to the computers. I admit, I plugged them in the wrong side first ๐ To be fair the leaflet isn't very helpful, but in hindsight it was an obvious mistake on my part. The other two ports are your inputs.I dislike that only one of these two ports is a USB 3.0 one, when the item is called a USB 3.0 Switcher. The images do show that the mouse and keyboard labeled port is not 3.0, but no where in the description or title is that mentioned. Specifically in the description it says "2 in 2 out USB 3.0 switch." This could just be refering to the outputs being 3.0, but it feels a bit deceptive.I don't think I would use this to swap any sort of file storage between devices because I've lost data from not removing a device correctly, and this feels like it would make it too easy to forget to eject them before swapping. Not to mention adding additional steps between the device and storage is just going to slow down your transfers. For a mouse and keyboard, or other peripherals I think this works just fine.
