Retro Handheld Game Console for Kids, Mini Arcade Machine with 240 Built-in Games, Portable Travel Toy, Ready to Play, 2.5" Screen, Easy Joystick, Gift for Boys Girls Ages 8+ (Batteries Included)

This is a game that is pretty basic and for people that grew up in the 1980s This will not impress Rich kids, but for the money is well worth it, easy to use reliable pretty basic- low cost good value.

The game is great, my 3 yr old Grandson loves it!!! He gets to play for 2 hrs a day and he is always excited to show us his skills!

I would say for the price it's really nice.

Makes a great gift.

Got this for my brother he loves it

Nice

My kids love it.

To review this arcade machine you have to look at the target audience which I would presume to be in the 3 to 8 year old range. Any older kids or adults wouldn't think much of the graphics but for a child they are just fine and the games are just the right amount of "play fun". The unit is advertised to have 240 games and it has that many. However many of them are very similar in how you play them with just a slight change in the graphics. As advertised the games are of the old 8-bit games. If you're old enough to remember the original Atari home game console you'll be familiar with how these games look and play, just on a smaller 2.5" screen. Quality-wise the machine appears to be made well. The seams in the plastic are all aligned with no gaps. The joystick and buttons work great and if taken care of will likely last for a long time. Value-wise compared to similar 8-bit machines this one is priced significantly less. One unit that is obviously the exact same product just branded differently, costs 30% more than this machine. So overall I'd say the value is excellent. The only thing I don't like about this machine is the battery compartment door. It has a typical "snap-close" and with a tiny screw that locks everything down. This screw is so tiny that you have to use a very, very small jewelers screw driver to loosen it. If you don't have a small enough screw driver you are stuck with no way to open the compartment. I'd prefer they skip having the tiny screw and just use the snap-close feature as it does the job well.
