This book is packed with genuinely helpful tools, reflections, and strategies for managing ADHD and executive functioning challenges. I appreciated the calm, encouraging tone and especially liked the sections on time management and emotional regulation — the reflection questions were a nice touch for staying focused. It’s clear the author put a lot of care and knowledge into this toolkit. That said, at nearly 600 pages, it’s a lot. For ADHD minds who prefer bite-sized input and quick wins, the sheer volume feels overwhelming. Personally, I would’ve loved a more streamlined, modular approach — something you can actually finish and revisit without losing track. Still, it’s a good resource if you’re ready to take your time and dig deep. But if you're looking for quick, snackable support, you might find yourself wishing for a lighter companion.

This book came to me at the right time. I was feeling overwhelmed with many things to do and no clear plan. “ADHD Executive Functioning Toolkit” helped me to understand what is happening in my brain and how to manage it better. What I liked most is that it is practical and not boring. Every chapter gives small steps that are easy to try. I liked the worksheets and simple tools. It’s not just theory—it tells you what to do and how. Even though the book is big (because it has 8 parts), it is not confusing. You can read only the part you need. I found the tips on time management and focus very useful. The decluttering chapters were helpful too, though a little long for me. If you want to stay organized, manage your emotions, and stop feeling lost all the time—this book is a good choice. It is friendly for people like us who get distracted easily.

This book is a collection of 8 books and is basically divided into two halves. The first targets executive functioning directly while the second half focuses deeply on organization and decluttering for people with ADHD. Executive functioning is defined as a set of skills: planning, organization, time management, and emotional regulation. The book gives details and strategies for each of those skills. It talks about how to combat overwhelm, increase productivity, overcome procrastination, flexible planning, habit formation, to name a few. It stresses on the importance of celebrating small wins and having meaningful rewards once you accomplish a task. It gives 10 skills for mastering time management. The author gives lots of examples that apply to students, employees, and/or parents throughout the first half of the book to apply each discussed strategy. It also gives insight on how to improve the working memory and long-term memory. Lastly, it focuses, rather heavily, on decluttering, using the Pause-Time tool, creating daily routines and habits, and adjusting them for sustainable application. Examples are given at every step of the way. I found that this book is massive in the amount of knowledge given, though I would have preferred the chapters on decluttering to be reduced.

Wowee there is a lot of great information in this bundled collection of 8 books on thriving with ADHD. Eight book in one: Book 1 - Tools to declutter your mind, your home and your life. Conquer overwhelm and procrastination which leads to more productivity. Developing long term good habits. Book 2 Mastering Time Management – I loved the 10 minute habits chapter – very useful, and really helps you get control of your time. Book 3 – Decluterring like a pro. Book 4 – 5 minute techniques to reclaim control of your mind and boost productivity. Book 5 – How to improve memory and attention. Book 6 – Decluttering and Organizing with ADHD builds on Book 2 Book 7 – Simplifying everyday essentials. Book 8 –Maintaining progress with ADHD I love that the book gives you practical, actionable steps that WILL improve your life. I also like the inclusion of the 8th book, so that you continue to thrive and improve, even after you complete the workbooks. Yes, with so much information, some of it gets a little repetitive. But hey, positive reinforcement again and again is a good thing. Recommended.
