Smith Wigglesworth has been described as the "Apostle of Faith". This little book is evidence of the aptness of that description! Ever Increasing Faith is jam-packed with sermons, eye-witness accounts of his ministry, and reflections on God's goodness, grace and power. Wheelchair-bound children, old women with cancer, men deaf from birth, and thousands of others were miraculously healed by God during Wigglesworth's ministry. Seven people were raised from the dead, including Polly, Smith's wife. What is most touching though, is to see his humility, his passion to glorify God, and his earnest desire to be closer and closer to Christ. He was an empty vessel, desiring to be more and more filled with the Holy Spirit. God used him in mightier ways than any other twentieth century evangelist. His wife Polly taught him how to read and the Holy Spirit taught him how to preach. And preach he did, doing the work of God, bringing thousands around the world to the place of wonder, of healing, and to salvation. This book is a feast for anyone who is hungry for more of God.

This is a rare treat into the life of one of the most powerful men of God to live in the past 100 years.

The book contains a little abut Smith's early years before moving on to his sermons. The book is a compilation of his sermons. In each chapter Smith emphases our faith in Jesus through Scripture and personal accounts for his ministry. His writing is Biblical and inspiring. However I could not give it five stars do to some of his beliefs. Two of them I would like to highlight. 1. He tells some that the reason they are not healed is that they do not have enough faith. You need to believe more to be healed. 2. To be filled with the Holy Spirit is only evident is speaking in tongues Smith describes himself as a Pentecostal. So his sermons hence the book is based on his Pentecostal understanding. If you can get passed the two things I mentioned above,then the Scriptures and miracles and healings will do what the title of the book states. It will increase your faith. This book or a chapter or tow may be good to read before ministering to someone, you are feeling down, etc. We all at times need to increase our faith to believe God for the impossible. This is a good book to use because it is not lenghty or overly technical.

I got this book because we as the church really need to seek to grow in our faith on a daily basis. All living things need nourishment and if we are not feeding on God's word as a part of that daily nourishment then we have become stunted in our growth. I chose this author because he truly was a man of God and lived out his faith. Sometimes this walk seems more complicated than we would like but the more we trust wholeheartedly in Gods word the easier life becomes. Trials will always be there but we need to keep our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. These testimonies and Smith Wigglesworths have helped me tremendously. I am no spring chicken, age 73, and I have a ways to go but faith is stronger today than yesterday. Thank God for these teachings.

This book is a great book! Smith Wigglesworth was true Man of God. The Holy Spirit quickened my spirit as I read this book. Because of Smith's ministryin this book, I try my best to carry a bible with me wherever I go and I try my best to stay in communion with God daily through reading the scripture and saying a prayer afterwards. I'm not there yet, but I will continue to strive to do so. I want to please God. I highly recommend this book. Because of the book, I bought The complete collection of his life teachings (Smith Wigglesworth) from amazon too. One thing I have to agree with Mr. Wigglesworth with is that though his books are good, there is still no book better than the bible. I've read through my bible 2.5 times this past year. Buy this book!

What I like about this book is the stories of faith and not teaching. Stories are far better and easily absorbed and can be readily received than someone trying to hammer dogma down your throat. Christ taught through story form and I like that.

The book clearly discusses all that I wanted discussed. It confirms all that I needed confirming. And it provides encouraging words backed by both signs and wonders based on the Word of God. Having waited for years in an area of Europe for the signs and wonders, and always believing they will come, Smith shows that I need to just continue and it will come. Praise the Lord, it will come!

This is a must read. You’ll experience a stirring within positioning your heart to hunger for all that God has for you.

A must read for all who are hungry and thirsty for more of Jesus and growing in their faith life.
