Industry standard equipment - older version but proven & low cost. Just cant beat the price to proformance. is NOT AC version
most Ubiquiti geat does not carry a valid warranty when purchased thur Amazon and there is a rumor that there is a lot of knock-off units sold here so Ubiquiti will not warranty most stuff purchased here but Ubiquiti has great gear for the price and I have found buying on amazon is much cheaper then buying wholesale through the distributor and for the price savings and quick delivery it is much better just buying it here. As far as this equipment it is great and proven. Keep in mind that the newer AC models are taking over so this stuff is getting cheaper but if you have a low noise environment or site less than 2-3 miles away chances are this is good enough. This doesnt use the newer software that the AC units have but they get the job done and is good enough for most applications and very ez to program compared to other companies like MikroTik. Be careful of updating you firmware to the latest since this company is known for putting out buggie firmware. I usually wait 4-6 months and wait for them to fix all of the problems before updating. But make sure you do firmware updates at least one a year. Watch the forums. Ubiquiti is the standard for low cost equipment and is used by almost every Wireless ISP. These are just older versions and are cheaper. If you have high noise environment or need to go a long ways just spend the extra money and get the AC version or the AC Prism if you need the best.

that is pretty useless in a congested environment just like the Nano ...
Unit's need to cover full 5.1 to 5.85 spectrum not just the 5.735 to 5.84 spectrum. that is pretty useless in a congested environment just like the Nano Beam M5's. Ubiquiti needs to get FCC certification for the full 5ghz spectrum for these devices for backhaul. Also the last five pack of Nano Bridge M5's were pretty junky. Three of the units out of the 5 pack died (apears to be bad chip sets) after upgrading to firmware XM5.6.2. Also two out of the last 4 NanoStation LocoM2's didn't work out of the box. We can't seem to get RMA on devices which don't even work out of the box if we don't open them up when we get them. We buy they ahead of time for backup units so some don't get opened for more than a month. this policy sucks. We are just giving away money to your Vendors.!!!! We should get at least 3 new guns (don't need the reflectors) for the NanoBridge M5's and 2 NanoStationLoco M2s to replace the defective devices we couldn't even get to be stable right out of the boxes. Very disappointed in Ubiquiti equipment and was happy for a few years with it. Seems to be a problem with firmware and chipset compatibility frequently now. Just opened another NanoStationLoco M2 and configured it at the firmware level it came with XM5.5.8. It ran great. Updated the firmware with XM5.6.2 and it crashed and keeps rebooting no matter what we do with it just like the other two. This is just junk now.

Love this radio
Just wanted people to know that yes, with 5.6.5 you can update with your fcc license to unlock uni-bands. Love this radio. Use them for some of the smaller backhauls.

Meine Erwartungen wurden alle erfüllt. 28.2. bestellt, 1.3. eingegangen. Ein Link zwischen DB0FS und DL8HAV über 8,2 km funktioniert bei 5815 MHz mit -74dBm Rx-Pegel bzw. 9,5 Mbit/s. Sendepegel 5dBm und Antennengewinn 25dBi also 30dBm bzw. 1W Strahlungsleistung.
