Revitalift 10% Pure Vitamin C Face Serum for Brighter Skin & Reduced Wrinkles, Fragrance Free, 1 0z.

I am a 31 year old female with combination, acne prone skin with some dark spots from sun/acne. I have been using the Vitamin C serum for a few weeks now and thought it was time to write a review. First off, the design and packaging of the tube is fantastic because it successfully keeps out light and air which will cause Vit C to go bad. Makes you wonder why all the other Vitamin C products are in glass bottles? Anyway - the price is right too. You have to be careful not to squeeze out too much of the product when you first open it (I just don't want to waste any of it)! The application is great - it is a gel/lotion consistency and goes on the skin very smooth/silky and absorbs quickly. It does not leave a residue. It feels very moisturizing and sometimes I will skip my moisturizer because my skin feels hydrated enough with this product. FYI I apply this product in the following order of my skincare routine - FIRST I wash my face with cleanser, 2nd - apply toner, THEN I apply this Vitamin C, and LAST moisturizer. This product can be applied morning and night but I find myself religiously applying it during my night-time skincare routine before bed. If you apply it in the AM, I've heard you should also be sure to apply SPF after. So far, this product is working for me. My face feels smoother, appears clearer, and my acne spots are fading away / almost disappeared after a few uses. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to up their skincare routine with Vitamin C!

It's the best vitamin c for skincare. Good value for your money no scent easy to apply leaves skin soft and shiny.

It does great on my 80-yr-old face - sun damage has disappeared, skin has smoothed out and feels good. My only problem with it (keeping me from giving it 5 stars) is there is a slight chemical smell.

I'm very sensitive to the way that facial products smell and it has been difficult to pick things out that will work because of that. Every now and then I get the thought of my head that I should switch to lower cost facial care products that contain the same ingredients as the ones that I've been using from higher end brands. And it never works. However that's just my skin, this is an acceptable C serum for anybody who doesn't mind that it smells a little bit like burned oranges but in a chemical way. The tube keeps it light safe which is the thing that degrades most serums, it's in a non-breakable packaging which is a definite plus, but it can get a little bit messy if you attempt to roll the tube up as if it were toothpaste Because it doesn't have the same consistency so keep an eye out for that. However I guess if you don't mind the smell this is great. It's not too runny so it's easier for people to manage than some of the liquid serums and it seems to do just fine on my skin. It wasn't overwhelming but it was definitely not a negative.

This is my favorite Vitamin C serum for the face. Leaves skin bright and glowing without any oily residue. Great value as well!

The product came out like water. I bought it from Amazon because I was running low on the one I had been using for over a year. However, when I tried to use it, it was too diluted. Given the high cost of this product, I would like to request a refund.

This is not a product I would have ever thought to buy had Gothamista not recommended it first, and even then I was skeptical. I use Retin-a 3-4X nights per week in addition to TO Niacinamide and Zinc and Paula’s Choice Azelaic acid on alternate nights. My oily, breakout prone and aging skin has seen dramatic improvements from this routine, but I’ve been searching for a Vit. C for morning use to accelerate the fading of some minimal remaining sun damage. I’ve tried most of the highly recommended Vit. C products (Skinceuticals, Timeless, Oz Naturals, and a couple Korean brands) and have either seen no positive effect and/or my skin became overly red and irritated/broke out. I had about reached the conclusion that perhaps my skin just did not like C or that the other actives I used in my nightly routine were too much in combination with a morning Vit C serum. Well, color me thrilled. I had two tiny zits that healed almost overnight from this cream. Not only that, but I felt no burning or irritation upon application or the morning after. The texture is lovely, if a bit siliconey, but it layers nicely under moisturizer and doesn’t look oily under my sunscreen/makeup. I actually appreciate how nice and spreadable this is, as with a typical liquid/dropper Vit. C serum I found most of them awkward to spread just a few drops over my whole face. Whether this has any brightening effect remains to be seen but having already seen it shrink my zits overnight I’m encouraged!

The item doesn't have manufacturing date. Bring so critical for face, it should have the expiry date mentioned.

Non greasy, unscented, perfect packaging to make sure the vitamin C stays stable. Plays well under my sunscreen, would probably work under makeup as well. Felt a bit of stinging/warm sensation on the first two days but that's normal according to L'oreal. I keep mine refrigerated. It hasn't given me any pimples, redness, irritation, etc. I haven't noticed any big differences since I started using this a month ago, but I only use it in the morning because I don't want to mix it with my retinol serum. I will update the stars and review when I'm done with the tube. Definitely worth trying if you're interested in vitamin C. Make sure you read the packaging, use a small amount and avoid your eye area.
