Cap Barbell Olympic EZ Curl Bar

I needed an EZ Curl Bar for my home gym. Nothing fancy, just something that would hold a decent amount of weight and function the way I needed it to. It arrived well packaged, I pulled it out of the box and was pleasantly surprised at the fact that it's not cheaply made. The knurls are well spaced and the diamond finish on them gives them a nice grip. The bar weighs 11 pounds, so it's light in and of itself but doesn't feel like it's going to break when you're using it. I use this thing for nearly every body part imaginable instead of going out and getting an olympic 7' bar, as the space for my home gym is pretty limited.

Don't hesitate to get it. It's a very solid piece of equipment. I did buy a pair of Clout FItness Olympic Barbell Clamps to go with mine (thus I don't use the metal ring clamps that came with it), because I really dig how easy to use are the Clout Fitness clamps (they're quick and hold well). But this EZ bar is good stuff. Don't hesitate to get it and add it to your home gym. We did and we love it. My wife even uses it for front squats.

Sturdy ez curl bar at a value price. Comes with collars that adjust easily with long handles to spin lock. Bar feels comfortable and solid in hands. There are like a dozen exercises you can do from bent over row to reverse curls so it is like a mini home gym. Weights in pic not included.

5 Stars for the product. The EZ Curl barbell is nice. It has a good feel to it and at a great price. 5/5 would recommend. 4 Stars for shipping — The EZ Curl bar was basically shipped in a giant tube with tape over the open holes on the ends. No cap or anything. When the item arrived, the tape was ripped and the bar almost fell out of the package (so just be mindful when you get it). The EZ Curl bar was missing the 1 metal ring to secure the weights and both tightening bolts. (I'd imagine they fell out during shipping, since the ends of the tube were split open. I contacted customer service (email only) and they responded within a few hours and are shipping me replacements for the missing parts. So shipping packaging could be improved, but overall I'm happy EZ Curl bar and with the quick response from the Customer Service team, and that they're sending the replacement parts.

This curl bar is super high quality. It originally was supposed to take 4 weeks for delivery but was delivered in 4 days instead. The bar is in perfect condition and the included collars are way better and easier to use than other reviewers stated. The knurling is NOT overly aggressive IME. Very impressed with the quality and customer service of CAP. Will be buying more of their stuff in the future. During peak pandemic this bar was back ordered out a few months and was listed at nearly 200$. Only spent 80$ now that stock is being replenished.

This 2" bar is perfect for curls. Great grips! The sleeves spin as they should. Great balance and even better grip angles as I have wrist that has been broken multi times so I can't rotate it out to allow me to fully curl a straight bar. So, if you are looking for a solid curl bar with angled grips, this is for you. Good stuff!

The rotating bars on the end are a little loose for my taste. They have +/- 0.2 inches of travel off axis at the very end of the bar (a little less than half an inch total). The rotating bars themselves pretty smooth even with 45 lbs on each side (this was just to test the bearings im not curling 100 lbs..). The locking rings/bar clamps that are included secure the weight well enough but the bolt does put divots/scratches the rotating bars. The black looks nice but please note the paint will scratch off on the rotating bars over time and in my opinion cheapens the look of the bar. I would have gone for the chrome bar but it was $10 more. The end caps on their packaging needs to be improved as mine had damage and had a hole big enough to stick three fingers in that the bolt for one of the locking rings must have fallen out of since I only received one. Besides having to order a new set of bar clamps which I was planning on doing anyway, I'm pretty happy with my order. Solid sub $50 bar for the price.

This is a high quality product, unfortunately its off balance to one side. I asked the seller for a refund and instead of asking me to send it back, he gifted me the bar citing my satisfaction as his priority. This is the mark of a good company. He said he knew how much of a hassle it would be for me to have to pack, tape, and go to a mail provider during a pandemic and didnt want to put me through it. Cant say enough about what that says about them as a company. 10 stars if I could. Thanks again.
