Casper Dog Bed, Plush Memory Foam, Large, Blue, 35.0"L x 45.0"W x 7.0"Th

This pet bed is so comfortable and plush that I think I would like to get one for myself as a mattress! I have a senior dog and while this is definitely a luxury item, I wanted to spoil her this year and this bed definitely fit the bill. She loves it so much and it is so thick and keeps her so far off the ground, I know it’s great for temperature control and comfort. I have a 50 pound husky mix, and the medium size worked just fine because her preference is to sleep in a tiny ball. We did buy her a back-up bed that’s larger from a different brand to see if it was more important to her to be able to stretch out, and she still sleeps in both of them in a tiny ball, so now we have one for upstairs and downstairs. Again, it is an expensive purchase, so we’re not buying a second one right now, but I think next year we will definitely be investing to replace the other one. I really love how all the pieces come apart and you can wash the cover if you need to. Oh my gosh! They also included a little stuffed dog frisbee in the packaging, so thoughtful. I’m not sure if that’s a limited holiday treat, but we appreciated that too. Again, senior dog, but we do put medical ointment on her feet, and that does appear to be staining the bed, otherwise haven’t had any issues with staining, and I know that the paw stuff has oil in it so we’re not too worried about the bed. Oil stains are a pain but we prefer happy paws. We’ll see if that comes out when we give it a wash, and we thought about it when we got the lighter color, but it is a dog bed - it doesn’t need to be pristine. I haven’t had a chance to test the waterproof or lack of state, but that is a point the review prompt is asking about, so I just wanted to address that it hasn’t come up for us just yet. Fully support and encourage this purchase if you have a pet you love and would love to spoil, or if there’s someone else in your life who has a beloved pet, this would be such an impactful gift.

I get on these kicks looking at dog beds, in search of the perfect one. I'm not going to say this one is perfect, but it's my favorite we've ever had! We have a 65 pound boxer who is 3 years old. He likes to sleep on anything comfy (that may or may not be made for dogs). As you can see in the pictures, he enjoys his Casper bed! So it is dog approved - he lays on it often and both curls up and stretches out. He likes the bolsters. But I also approve it! I like how thick and firm the mattress is and the 4 bolster inserts. The cover material is sturdy and feels like it'll last (it's been in the washer and dryer just once so far), but still comfy enough to attract the pup. I like how they designed the cover and zippers - putting it together is easy and it holds it's original shape. The only thing I wish is that there was a size between the medium and large. We got the large and I wish it were a tad smaller. But I think the medium would be too small since he does like to stretch out, too. It doesn't bother me enough to want a different bed. If I do buy him another bed, it will likely be this very one. I'm telling you, we've had several brands and styles... And I'm really liking this one. Pricier than I've spent on dog beds, but I'm glad I did!

Very nice bed, doggie loves it

I purchased this for my senior Shiba Inu because she’s been having trouble standing and keeps falling off the bed at night. The medium size is almost big enough for her to stretch out on her side—she can’t sleep on her stomach or curled up anymore. I love that I can remove the inner padding to clean it easily, and it didn’t have a harsh smell when it arrived. It’s comfortable enough that I can lie next to her on the ground and use it as a pillow. I’ve been using a puppy pad and a towel on top to catch accidents, and so far it’s working well. Unlike other memory foam beds, it doesn’t get too hot. It’s a little pricey, but for my pup, it’s worth every penny.

UPDATE: A little over a year later and cover has begun to rip on top. So yes it has held up longer than other beds, but I'm disappointed it didn't hold up longer for the price. Casper sells a replacement cover, but it's insanely overpriced. Basically half the cost of the bed! I think I'm being generous only taking one star off the review. I would say this is closer to a 3.5 if you expect durability. Original 5 star review --------- My dog likes to dig when settling down—which means I’ve gone through an absurd number of dog beds this year. While I have a Casper mattress myself, I was reluctant to spend so much for a dog bed. But after wasting so much money on cheaper beds, I finally gave in, and why do I feel like a fool for not doing it sooner! In fact, within a month, I ordered a second one. The design and cover of these beds are durable, and allows your dog to dig without any destruction. So while it may cost more than other beds, it’s gonna last. Since my dog also likes to lay up against something, the raised edges are a huge plus.

I never write product reviews, but after spending a significant amount of time shopping around for dog beds I thought a review could be useful for others. I purchased this Casper bed, along with a Sealy Lux Quad Orthopedic Bed, to replace two Eluxury orthopedic mattresses that I purchased 2 years ago. The Eluxury mattresses were no longer supportive and my Goldens were sinking into them. I was disappointed with the Casper bed as soon as I opened the box. The bed consists of 5 separate pieces (and a cover) - 1 mattress and 4 foam sides - and the mattress section itself is quite small for a large. Coming out of the box, the mattress looked and felt like a low-quality foam pillow. It was light-weight and seemed flimsy. I unpacked it and let it sit for a few hours to let it expand and take shape....but 2 hours later it was still scrunched, misshapen, and flat. This actually turned out to be a good thing, since it made the Casper bed easier to get back into the box in preparation for returning it. I tried lying down on the Casper myself, and it was extremely uncomfortable. It was not at all supportive and I could feel the hard floor beneath me. The price of this bed is outrageous for the quality; it is worth about a quarter of what Casper is charging. The Sealy, on the other hand, felt heavier and denser than any foam dog bed I have felt before, which is a sign of a higher quality foam mattress. The Sealy bed filled out quickly after unpacking it and was easy to assemble. When I tried lying down on the Sealy it was supportive, without being hard. When I purchased these two beds I was actually more skeptical about the Sealy. I anticipated wanting to keep the Casper and return the Sealy, but we will definitely be returning the Casper and getting a second Sealy. I'm surprised at all of the positive reviews for the Casper. My guess is that these come from people that have not tried out a lot of other foam dog beds. The cover does seem to be pretty nice...perhaps that leads to the higher ratings?

Bought in 2022, writing this December 2025. Still lasting as if we bought it this year. Very durable. Holds its shape well. Still gives us the confidence that our dog looks comfy and happy sleeping in it. Zippered cover comes in handy to wash as needed. Versatile to use in any room, this one is used in our bedroom. Color is nice and goes with any style. Our dog is a Shiba Inu and the medium size is perfect.

The bed came in beautiful packaging and was easy to put together. Originally I wasn’t too sure if my dog would like it. He is a 11 pound yorkie-poodle who is 9 years old. I’ve noticed he began to prefer the carpet over his soft beds which made me consider a firmer orthopedic style bed for him. I first purchased a sealy* dog bed that he uses off and on. I then got this Casper bed and he lays on it throughout the day. I do believe he likes it. The construction is good quality. Top material is thick and has a suede like feel. The foam is good quality memory foam. I’ve seen other reviews posted and the foam is a brown cheap looking filler. This is NOT what I received. See attached video. Foam is good quality and is a true memory foam. TLDR: The bed is firm, but supportive and made of good materials.

The memory foam disappoints in the quality! It’s not a proper memory foam. It doesn’t add value that justifies the high priced bed

El tamaño es mucho mas grande de lo que se ve en las fotos del anuncio del producto. ¡Puntos extra por el juguete en forma de waffle que viene de regalo! Fácil de armar, el material de la funda se siente resistente y de buena calidad. Mi labrador chocolate inmediatamente se subió, y como pueden ver en la foto, se puso feliz de estrenar cama. Espero que le duré. Mantendré actualizada mi reseña conforme pase el tiempo.

I will never buy any other kind of bed this is the 2nd bed for a 2nd dog they last a very long time and the cover wears out before the cushions are done given the quality it actually works out to be incredible value for money worth every penny

J’avais acheté ce même panier orthopédique, il y a de ça 7-8 ans en arrière, lorsque la marque CASPER distribuait encore en Suisse. Mon chien adore ce panier. Il l’a accompagné jusqu’à aujourd’hui et il est encore en excellent état ! Je cherchais désespérément un deuxième panier orthopédique pour le mettre dans une autre pièce, mais impossible d’en trouver un de la même qualité et du même confort. Alors quand j’ai vu que je pouvais le commander sur Amazon j’ai sauté sur l’occasion et je ne regrette pas du tout ! Exactement la même qualité qu’à l’époque. Il est parfait ! Surtout pour les chien plus âgés avec des soucis d’arthrose (ce qui est le cas du mien). Je sais que le prix peut en dissuader plus d’un, mais faites-moi confiance, il durera dans le temps !
