I live in zone 4b, do I have to plant Galangal in a container that needs to wintered inside?

Since this plant is a native of zone 15 (or so) it would be appropriate to at least find a nice down jacket for it. Also, thai peppers keep things hot. Try those.No... Really... This is not an outdoor plant for you.
