Well made and perfect for changing seasons
I wasn't entirely sure about this shirt jacket because it contains wool (only 9%) and I have a wool allergy, but it was so nice looking I couldn't refuse. I'm glad I took the chance because this is a fantastic jacket for changing seasons! The inside is lined with satin and then, underneath, a lightly padded/insulated lining. There's one from chest pocket, two front hand slit pockets and a zip pocket on the inside of the jacket next to the zipper on the left side. The jacket closes with a hidden zipper covered by heavy duty snap buttons and the sleeves have two size settings, again with sturdy snaps. The material is surprisingly soft, not scratchy or rough, and feels like quality. This doesn't feel like a cheap, chintzy, poorly made piece of clothing at all. The value for the money is definitely there and it shows in the quality of the piece. I'm 5'6" and have a roughly 27" waist and a 31" chest and the size Small fits me well (about the same as any good fitting men's Small fits). The sleeves are the perfect length. This is going to be a fantastic jacket for the change in weather from winter to fall (I can also see it being great for early spring into late spring or even early summer, depending on the type of weather you get where you live). It's warm enough to keep the chill off and cuts the wind nicely, but isn't too hot or heavy. I also love that it's machine washable rather than dry clean only. I don't have time or money to be dry cleaning my jackets on a regular basis, so it's a rather unusual and pleasant surprise!

Looks sharp, but had a flaw
This coat looks so great on my dad! I think that the style of this coat makes it very versatile. It can easily be dressed up or down. My dad is typically a Large/X-Large and this XL fit him perfectly. He’s about 6 foot and 175 lbs. The sleeves are just a bit on the short side but not overly so and it kind of contributes to the tailored look and length of the coat. The outside of the coat is a nice, soft wool blend that feels felt-like. The only reason I’m rating this 4 stars and not 5 is that the coat I received had a flaw. It looked like something like a white thread or fuzz had gotten mixed in to the black wool. It was embedded in with the black wool. I surgically picked it out with a needle and now it’s not noticeable at all. In my photo, you can see it looked like about a one-inch vertical white line, and it was right on the chest so it was very visible before I removed it. My dad says the coat feels cozy warm without feeling bulky or heavy. He’s pretty smitten! Note- in the photo of my dad wearing the coat, the white specks on the coat are raindrops. However, since this coat has a wool outer, it does pick up fuzz, pet hair etc. And since we got the black coat, it shows everything.

Classic jacket to enjoy the cooler fall days
This is a beautiful fall or early spring jacket. It is very soft and warm for the cooler weather days. I wore it out just this week when the winds were blowing and it keep me nice and comfortable. Layer it with a soft scarf and your neck Will also be we'll protected as it does not have a hood or high neck sleeve. My concern was the wool content since I start to get itchy when I wear wool. This jacket only has 9% though, and with the liner it doesn't truly touch you. I had no problem wearing it for the duration, especially since I also head an a sweater underneath. The jacket has three outside pockets and one zippered pocket on the inside right next to the seam for the jacket zipper. Pockets are a good size so you can put a pair of gloves or a scarf into them for when it does get colder. I don't like to wear clothing generally with lots of large branding logos, and I know Tommy Hilfiger usually has their name in large print or on emblems. This jacket has only very subtle branding and nothing that stands out as a billboard. The beauty of this jacket is that while it is designed to be casual, it truly is also a jacket you can wear out to a dinner party as it is very classy. I generally wear a 2XL because I have brought shoulders and a bit of a belly and this 2XL fits me well.

Quality made coat with a classic look
Now I understand why people pay more for Tommy Hilfiger. This jacket is well-made. The stitching is solid, the zipper is smooth, and the snaps work perfectly. This has a classic “straight” look that’s perfect for men. Ladies would also find it warm and comfy, but keep in mind it’s more of a straight cut, so those heavy “on top” may have issues. The lining is smooth, so watches or jewelry shouldn’t snag it. I love the textured look — it doesn’t show off cat or doggy hair (always an issue with wool coats). This is definitely a winter or almost-snowing coat. It’s a bit too warm for early fall, though not plush enough for freezing temps. Still, it’s a great piece of outerwear and well worth the price point. This jacket appears to run true to size, with just enough breathing room to accommodate thermals or sweatshirts.

Versatile and warm
Well-made wool blend jacket/"shacket" that can be easily dressed up or dressed down. Versatile styling and simple solid color would work as a proxy suit coat for winter months with a shirt and tie, but also pairs well with jeans or khakis for casual workwear or just going out. Wool blend will resist moisture for a little while, but it's not quite waterproof. Very, very warm for a midweight jacket. Fit is roughly true to size, with a little bit of extra space to account for underlayers. Even if you plan to wear this as a third layer I'd recommend ordering your normal size. Subtle Tommy Hilfiger branding elements but nothing too prominent. You're paying a little bit of a brand premium for the Tommy Hilfiger label, but it's not excessive. This is a very good quality jacket with a versatile, unique style and well worth the money if your budget allows.

Good fit, minimalist, comfortable, warm
I wasn't sure about ordering this because, although I love Tommy Hilfiger clothing, I do not love polyester. But given this is a jacket, not worn directly on the skin, and also not worn in the warm season, I figured, why not? I did not expect this to fit my husband. He wears 2XL and 3XL in t-shirts. A 2 XL coat seemed like it could be small, but it fits like a glove! Now I don't know why this is called a Shacket, but it is a nice one! A minimalist design that fits somewhere in between a sports coat and a more "elegant" jacket. It goes well with jeans, but also with slacks. It is very warm and comfortable, and it has a good number of exterior and interior pockets. The Heather Grey one was a good choice, as black ones always show all the lint, hairs, and every little spec of dirt that may end up on them. It's not heavy, so it will be perfect for traveling in the cooler season. I don't live in a place with very cold winters, so this will be perfect for our needs.

Comfortable, warm, stylish - what else can you ask for?
This jacket from Hilfiger is both stylish and functional, featuring a refined quilted design that looks great without being flashy. I wore it on a chilly day, and it provided just the right amount of warmth. The fit runs mostly true to size, though there’s a bit of extra room around the waist - so if you prefer a slimmer silhouette, consider going down one size. I went with the navy option, and the color is spot-on: classic, versatile, and easy to pair with anything. Although it’s labeled as a wool blend, the fabric is primarily polyester with about 10% wool mixed in. The texture still feels soft and comfortable, and the material is easy to maintain. I also appreciate the minimalist branding - no oversized logos, just a clean, understated look. Overall, this is a great everyday jacket that balances warmth, comfort, and modern style. I’m really happy with it and plan to wear it all fall and most of the winter.
