Very easy to install and works well
This is the second time I purchased this product for the door leading to my garage. It is very easy to trim to size with a scissor and easy to install. The first one I purchased has lasted several years and is on a door that gets used several times daily. It has stayed on perfectly and there is no issue with the sticky tape used to adhere it to the door (I thought it might give out after awhile, but it is holding strong). This one is working just as well. It keeps out drafts and bugs and looks nicer than the worn out rubber that was on the bottom of the door.

exterior door use
Using it for an exterior door because the door was installed with a 1/2"-3/4" gap at the bottom and all kinds of creatures were crawling under it. I cut it to the correct width and installed it easily. It wasn't so thick that it interfered with the door closing. The lower part of the flap is about twice as thick as the part that you adhere to the door but you can lay it flush with the door so the bulk of the sweep is directly under the door. The surface that the sweeper adhesive is attached to has a latex gloss paint finish. I didn't sand the paint before adhering; I just made sure to clean it really well with some vinegar and water and dried it out. The adhesive is very strong. I was worried it might peel off very soon, but it has been attached through all seasons including heavy rain and excessive heat. Rain storms would cause puddles inside the door but not anymore. There hasn't been any deteimental shrinkage or warping. The part of the sweep that is pressed against the hinge end of the door has some very small gaps in it that have dust collecting on top so I know there is slight separation, but the sweep is still sturdy all the way across and is still firmly in place like the first week it was applied. It could be several years before it needs replacement

Adhesive is not strong enough for uneven floors.
I have a concrete floor with high spots and low spots. When the door is closed, it's over a low spot so when the door is open the sweep drags and the adhesive cannot stand up to repeated openings. I fixed this problem by screwing a strip of wood over the area where the adhesive is. Works fine but the dragging over high spots is a pain but that's my fault not the fault of the sweep.

So Far, So good
Fairly flexible so even though it came folded, it didn't try to hang on to the folded shape too much. Applied easily, trimmed easily. While I did need this to block a bottom door draft, I also bought it to help block a gap to keep mice out of my house. I won't base my review on that though because it's not part of the product description. It is blocking the drafts well, however. If the adhesion pops off quickly or there are any issues, I'll update but for now, it's rocking a 5 star.

Easy to cut and install
Excellent product. I've bought four of these over time. For my screened in patio. Very easy to cut. Easy to install. Clear and simple instructions. Very flexible. Excellent adhesion to metal door. Sticks solidly. Not affected by rain or heat - continues to stick after one year. I installed with no mistakes on the first try, which is uncommon for me. So this is a very easy product for beginners like me; or you.

Quality control sucks.
My first order came on time and the product is easy to install and in excellent condition. However, I ordered for the second time, unfortunately, it has no adhesion. The product is defective. Have no time to return. Hope I can get a refund or a replacement.

Very Easy to Install and Useful at Blocking Drafts, Pests, etc.
We had a pretty significant gap at both back and front doors in our 1920s home. This heavy adhesive strip did the job without having to drill into our original door. It can be placed inside or outside, or both, and it's easy to get it at just the right position--no tools necessary. It's much higher quality than what's on offer at the home improvement stores as well. So far, I am very pleased with the product. There are no problems at all with adhesion, even though our back door gets a real blast of heat in the summer.

It works!
I use this door sweep for our bedroom which is at the back of the house. We had one of those stoppers that had foams inserts in a casing. The space under our door is rather large so the rollers would always come away from the door and we had to reposition it all the time. This works like a charm! It was easy to afix to the door and hasn't shifted or come undone. It keeps out noise, creepy crawlies and a lot of the cooking odors that seem to float back to our room. Should have bought this long ago.
