Following the global success of The 1000 Dot-to-Dot Book, author Thomas Pavitte is now taking his extraordinary illustrations to the urban jungle in 1000 Dot-to-Dot Cityscapes. With 20 incredible drawings of some of the greatest cities in the world each consisting of no fewer than one thousand dots and rendered in amazing detail you'll discover the unique pleasure and satisfaction that comes from joining dots. Best of all, the fun doesn't end with the last dot joined, because the perforated pages make it easy to tear out your drawing, rewarding you with a brilliant piece of art that you yourself had a hand in creating! Really nice!
I thought I might be too old for a dot-to-dot at 31, but this is really nice! The book is massive, but it's easy to follow and you can see the picture coming together. The end result is super classy, I even framed the Amsterdam one. If you like to watch Netflix with a glass of wine and a craft, buy this! Also buy the author's spiroglyphics because that's also super cool.

Sumamente entretenido

Best Dot-to-Dots around! And I've tried them all!
Thomas Pavitte makes the greatest of all dot to dots! Hands down! I've done a book or 2 by almost every dot to dot artist I can get my hands on, and every time im looking for another one to do, im drawn back to Mr. Pavittes books. *sidenote...if you haven't tried his other books; Querkles or Spiroglyphics, they're also big recommendations as well. Although youre counting to 1000 most numbers are easy to follow without stopping and looking for the next number. And unlike some other adult dot to dot books, the numbers aren't piled up on top of each other making a big mess the more you go back thru. I've done a couple books, that became almost impossible as the numbers were all so close that I couldn't tell what numbers were what. Mr. Pavittes books are great with the numbers; each 100 being a different color. So helpful. They are small, but definitely not too small that you can't read them. Honestly, I've done all his dot to dots, 5 or 6 times. They're just that great. His spiroglyphics and querkles books took a little getting used to but each time I finished the first picture in them and got the hang of it...they soon became favorites as well. I can't recommend these enough, for anyone. I initially bought one for my 8yo son. He was able to do them, but didn't have any real interest in them so I ended up finishing it...and then ordering more and more and more for myself. I do like coloring books for adults but I can get a little critical of colors I've chosen half way thru and then kinda give up, but with these dot to dots, you really can't mess up, because if you do accidently go to a wrong number, you just go back to where you went awry and continue on, and you seriously can't tell when youre finished. When I started doing the books I would use the sharpie very fine, pen like one, but as I started doing more and more I moved up to the regular sized sharpies which is my favorite. Because I do use sharpies I'll usually put down a piece of paper in between the pages, so it doesn't bleed onto the next page, but mostly I just tear them out. They're very handily perforated and then I just flip the book over to the back side and do it on that. So much fun. Such great pictures! Really a different, but pretty rad look when youre finished. I'm not a fan of coloring them in when im finished but I know some people like that. I've found that I enjoy doing the dot to dots and my friend likes to color them. Win win. Definitely try them out tho!
