Ultra Control Solution for Blood Glucose Meters, Test Strips - 0.126 Fl Oz

What can i say this stuff is hard to find locally....i know these meter been around for a while but they are great meters so this solution was much needed . Calibrated my meter. A little pricey but you got to do what you got to do.

Works great as they say

Was easy enough to use for calibrating my machine, you need to have your original instructions for your machine when using this.. otherwise you need to look them up online. the accuracy was right on the mark and it is good priced. It is so hard to find this so we just order it online.

Does the job it was designed for well

Being an old Lab Tech with T2D, habits are hard to break. I run each new lot of test strips against a control. This product fulfills that need.

The numbers I get are too different from what I expected. I thought it would give me something somewhat similar to what one would expect from actual diabetes or pre-diabetes measurements. It does not. It only offers three ranges: low, middle and high. Nuy, for example, mine gave me a 170 result, which would fall under their "middle" range. But that number is very, very high on a diabetes scale. (And, no, according to my doctor's test I am not even pre-diabetic. If that were the right scale, I would be seriously ill, which I am definitely not. 170 is not normal at all, much less middle range. Something is very wrong. I cannot use this at all.
