I wish I could give this 10 stars!!!! This is an awesome globe for the money. They’ve always been so expensive. It’s plastic that’s fine for me. 12inch diameter is perfect. Bigger than I expected. What a wonderful birthday present I bought myself!! I love reading my Bible ! Now I can see all the places. It was shipped beautifully. Perfect!! Easy to put together.

In the end the globe is beautiful and useful and my child loves it. But... First: When it arrived the plastic piece that holds the globe in place (the part with the long arc) was completely out of alignment and I could not mount the globe on the holder. I assumed the globe was therefore essentially useless and I almost returned the whole thing. But it was a present for my child's birthday, and if I returned it I had nothing to give. So I put that plastic part in boiling water, let it get good and hot, and was able to bend it back to approximately the right shape. So I fixed it, but I shouldn't have had to fix a brand new product right out of the box. Second: The globe we received had the political map printed on the inside of the globe and the natural features map on the outside. (I wanted a natural features globe, so this was totally OK with me.) But as I read the--very poor--directions there was reference to a light bulb holder that my globe did not have. The box and listing did not advertise it so I wasn't cheated or anything, but the instructions were clearly referring to a model/product slightly different to what was actually in the box. Nonetheless, I scratched my head for awhile, visited a hardware store, and eventually mounted an LED lightbulb of my own inside the globe. Now it is super cool. Bulb off, the natural feature globe I wanted. Bulb on, it becomes a political globe and an awesome nightlight. Pretty cool, but... Main point is it arrived in need of repair and the instructions didn't fit the model. That would warrant a pretty bad review. But it was fixable, and I assume the bent plastic was a random fluke. Yet, quality control should have caught it before it was packaged. But it was fixable, and with some creative light installation it became a really neat gift for my child. So I settled on four stars. Pretty good, almost fabulous, but needing some better quality control so the customer gets a good product with good instructions. (I also cannot promise the globe you receive has the political map printed on the inside, since the packaging made no reference to such a thing. What if the globe I got was in the wrong box somehow? It seems I got the wrong instructions.) Tip if you have to use boiling water to bend the mounting plastic on yours. Even in boiling water it only bends very slowly, so go very very slow. but it will gradually move and when you remove it from the water it will retain it's shape.

Easy to put together. Was a Christmas gift for some kids. Well received and large enough to be readable.

It was easy to assemble and quality of material fine for the price. Not exactly what I wanted as I found the words a bit difficult to see/read.

It feels cheaply made compared to the globes I grew up with and I wish it were a raised relief but other than that it's a nice globe and is a great educational tool for my kids. The hemispheres aligned perfectly and there's a ton of information on it. Overall I'm happy with it and I think my kids will love it too.

Accurate/updated globe for current way the earth is now compared to the past. Very nice detail. Easy to assemble. Slippery when turning it. Wish it was also a relief globe where you can feel the mountains and the ocean floor. I am happy with the globe. Very beautiful! Happiness...

My grands have been wanting a globe. This one fits the bill perfectly!
