Sony Alpha a6000 Mirrorless Digital Camera with 16-50 mm Lens, 24 MP (White)

First time using this camera l must it's pretty awesome,l previously owned a Canon SLR and will not go back.The images off the sony are clear and very sharp as well this camer is very light weight aND more manageable to use...l love it...thank you.

As the title implies the Sony alpha series camera is a beloved staple of the photography industry offering great performance at an attractive price point. Please consider looking at external camera lenses as the default kit lenses may make images look soft and don’t properly reflect the quality that the camera is capable of.

Very versatile, great picture quality, full manual control but great auto-functionality as well, compact enough to fit in most pockets with the 16-50mm lens attached. Only drawback I came across was that WiFi transfer to smartphone will only give you a compressed JPEG less than 2MP, so if you want to use it with a phone properly, I'd recommend an SDCard reader that fits whatever port your phone has (type C, Micro or just standard USB and an adapter for your phone's connector type so you can use it with your computer as well).

This is the best camera I've ever bought. It's light weight and easy to use. I have used it so far for a month. Picture quality is very good. I can't wait to take more photos when the winter is gone. A lot of accessories such as lense adapter, remote control, battery and charger are readily available from Amazon for this camera too. A lot of YouTube videos are posted for this camera telling you how to fully utilize the capabilities. I am amazed also that a lot of good reviews can be found as well from a lot of professionals.

I have a D600, aD5300 and now, an a6000. The a6000 fits in a largish pocket and is therefor the one that gets there most often . This is a very capable crop sensor camera, and the kit lens is remarkably good, but it's not a camera to build a large lens collection around. That's what the A7 is for.
