kbdfans Bamboo Wood case 60% for GH60 DZ60 Mechanical Keyboard

I bought this case to use with a DZ60 PCB. I ordered it from Amazon rather than KBDFans directly thinking it might arrive more quickly, and ordered the DZ60 PCB from KBDFans the same day. It turns out they both fulfill from KBDFans so it took a little while for them to arrive, and they arrived on the same day. The case is very nice quality. The mounting screws are seated in metal hubs on the lower part of the case. The wood is pretty and uniform in color with a nice smooth finish. It is light weight and the case does not come with any dampening material so the sound of the completed keyboard is load and unique. There is a bit of a thunk style sound from the larger keys. I read some advice on putting a piece of cut felt on the bottom of the case to dampen the sound, but I actually like the sounds now that I have typed on it for a couple of days. Finally, the case is flat profile, so beware when choosing keycaps that flat XDA/DSA style caps will make for a very flat experience. The case is also about an inch high at point of PCB, so closer to 2 inches which caps installed, make a wrist rest a good idea. I added small feet to the rear of the base to give it a 9 degree slant and it types like a dream.

I love it, it's a very clean case I'm using with my ducky one 2 mini and it's fantastic. The keyboard installed easily with just a few screws. I will say that it is definitely a bit taller than I expected, which for me is fine, but you may wish to get a wrist rest(Is that the word?) to keep your hands elevated. This said, it's definitely a very well made and clean case. I would definitely buy it again if I ever had to

Beautiful case. Mine came with a couple of chips out of the edges, but I just glued them back in.

It's a good product, I bought off of kbdfans website a couple years ago for less money. It is discontinued on their site though by the looks of it. It is a good solid case for keyboards that fit.

As stated above, moronically there is no battery cut out so if you want to add extra steps on fixing it yourself or like wasting money, then buy this. Otherwise look elsewhere.

Absolutely beautiful product! I find myself not using the cover very often (I like my keycaps). Very easy for me to install my Ducky one2 60% board on. My only complaint is I need to buy a wrist rest for the height. It is taller then my original keyboard. With the wrist rest - it’s a 10/10!

This case is fantastic. Real quality bamboo, I laser engraved onto it, which proves how durable the wood is.

Ich bin voll zufrieden. Anmerken kann man, dass das Case eben komplett flach ist. Ich habe höhere Gummi Füße angeklebt für einen leichten Winkel aber wer einen hohen Winkel haben will sollte sich eventuell einfach ein anderes Case kaufen. Vielleicht kommt man auf die Idee den Deckel als Handablage zu nutzen in der Paxis ist das aber nicht zu empfehlen da er zu hoch und nicht angewinkelt ist und wegrutscht. Wäre ein cooles Konzept wenn es gehen würde aber was solls. Man kann eben nicht alles haben.

accurate size/ description nicely made, smooth finish, can fit full size switches and key caps without needing low profile for the lid. your switches will show on the lower sides a bit, but that's not a bad look regardless. also it smells nice.
