No glue or paints. The entire model is red plastic so prepare to paint a lot.

why do the product details say 13 inches long but everyone in the anwser section says it's only 9 inches

The 13" is the length of the box. Revell says the model is 231mm or 9" long.

What is stage 3 meaning?

I belive stage 3 is the level of experience.Stage 1 would be beginner,stage 2 would be intermediate and stage 3 would be expert.

This model is similar to the tugs that worked the Piscataqua River between Maine and New Hampshire. They were built in the early 1900’s to the 1940’s. They have been replaced by modern tugs. They were all diesel powered.
