Sol de Janeiro Hair & Body Perfume Mist

This body spray smells so good and sweet, perfect for summer. It lasts longer if you layer it on top of lotion. I love how it is travel sized, and the wooden cap adds a nice touch, so it doesn't feel cheap and plasticy especially after spending $26 on it. Which to me, is worth it because it is a nice addition to my summer collection. it doesn't have that alcohol scent some sprays have which is nice. overall, I love this product and will be buying more from this brand in the future.

Wow!!! I'm so glad I bought this. I didn't know what to expect. As soon as I sprayed it, everyone was complimenting me and asking what that amazing smell was☺️

So, full disclosure: I'm very ingredient-focused and usually avoid highly scented body products because they tend to bother me. One thing that stands out to me, however, about Sol de Janeiro is that, although they do use synthetic fragrances in their body products, they tend to be open about many of the individual compounds used to create their unique scents, and they avoid many commonly hazardous ingredients in their products. I appreciate companies that are transparent and selective with their ingredients. I did find "Cheeky Biquini" strong, since I generally go for more subdued fragrances, but it doesn't overwhelm me like many fragrances do or give me a headache. One spritz is enough to last all day. It's principally sweet and fruity, and I definitely pick up on the apricot in the first few minutes. It's almost juvenile in it's fruitiness, but as the top notes fade it becomes more sophisticated, leaving hints of vanilla and something else I can't place. I wouldn't say it entirely fits me, or is the type of scent I usually am drawn to, but it's something I would smell on someone and go, "Oh they smell nice" , instead of, 'Ugh their perfume is too strong." If you like sweet, fruity, exuberant scents you will like this. It's fresh and young, with a touch of sophistication.
