Fun, Fast-Learning Game That Really Boosts Reading Confidence!
We absolutely love ThinkFun Zingo Sight Words! This game has been a game-changer for helping my child practice reading without it feeling like “homework.” It’s fast-paced, exciting, and truly educational — exactly what you want from a learning game for early readers. The mechanics are simple enough for preschoolers (Pre-K) to grasp right away, but still engaging for kindergarten and early elementary kids up to 2nd grade. The Zingo “tile dispenser” adds an element of surprise that keeps kids motivated to play again and again. My child gets so excited each time we yell “Zingo!” and matches the sight word cards with their board. What I appreciate most is how this game reinforces real reading skills — focusing on high-frequency words in a way that builds confidence and fluency. You can see noticeable improvement in just a few play sessions. Plus, it’s educational and fun, which makes learning feel like a reward. The pieces are sturdy, the set is well-organized, and cleanup is easy. This has become a regular at our family game nights and a go-to for rainy day learning. If you’re looking for a playful, effective way to support early reading, this is one of the best tools out there. Highly recommended! 📚✨

Great tool for matching sight words
This is a really cute game and the concept is great. I do hate that the chips seem to get stuck coming out sometimes. Otherwise, it’s a fun “matching” game to work with sight words. My son is 4 years old and he’s not quite ready to sit down and give it his full attention but he likes the idea of it. I just need to get him to focus on matching instead of randomly placing them to “win” 😅

Great game for a child to grow into....
This game was a gift for an almost 4 year old. Its a great gift for a child to grow into. Pros: 1. Child can match the words from the word chips to the pictures/words on the board, even if they don't know how to spell. 2. A game that can go at any pace for any 4 year old and older. 3. A great learning too for someone learning to read. 4. Fun for anyone 4 years and older. 5. Game is pretty sturdy and well made. Boards could get bent up if someone tried to do that, but otherwise they are good quality. Word chips are plastic and of good quality. No Cons! I would definitely recommend this game and buy again for a gift for someone.

Perfect for special ed 9 year old
This game is perfect for our 9 year old granddaughter who is special ed. She needs the repetition and enjoys the game. She is finally learning some of the words. We have been over some of them a zillion times in multiple ways with no success. When we play the game, she needs to read each word and then check to see if she has it. She is remembering more and more of the words.

Amazing. Ziiiiiiiiingo!
The bingo-style format keeps kids engaged because it moves quickly and feels more like a game night activity than flashcard drilling. The sliding “Zinger” tile dispenser is also a big hit and keeps younger kids interested throughout the game. ThinkFun designed it specifically around common sight words that make up a large percentage of beginner reading vocabulary. What stands out most is how easy it is to learn. You can open the box and start playing almost immediately, and it works well for different skill levels because of the dual-sided cards with varying difficulty. It’s especially good for kids who lose focus with traditional reading exercises. The biggest downside is content variety. While there are 72 tiles, there are only about 24 unique sight words repeated multiple times for gameplay, so more advanced readers may outgrow it fairly quickly. Pros: fun and engaging learning format, helps reinforce sight words, easy setup, good for early readers, interactive tile dispenser keeps kids interested Cons: limited unique word variety, can become repetitive over time, best for beginner-level readers Overall: a really solid early reading game that makes sight word practice much more engaging for younger kids. It’s best for beginner readers and works especially well as a supplement to school learning rather than a full reading program.

Really good game
My daughter 3 loves this and treats it purely as a game. But the more we play the more she is recognising the words in the game. It is fun way of developing word recognition, having the numbers in is good as they are easier to recognise and this seems to stop her getting frustrated if she does recognise all the words

Great family fun!
Bought this to play with my 2 grandkids ages 3&5. We all had so much much! They kept saying one more game! Great way to for kids to learn without them even realizing it!

Para arrancar con el inglés
Comprado para unos padres que habla bastante inglés. Los peques que lo usaron se animaban a hablar y decir cosas en inglés, aunque eso ya depende de cada niño/a. Los padres estaban contento con el juego.

Great game for learning sight words
My son is about to start Prep and beginning to recognize sight words, so this game will come in very useful. So far he loves it, and operating the zinger is a fun novelty.
