ULTICLIP SLIM 2.2

I have been using ULTICLIP products now since 2017 having bought two of the ULTICLIP 3 version and now the ULTICLIP SLIM 2.2. In my opinion, the ULTICLIP design is absolutely superior to any other IWB Holster Retention Clip design in terms of quick mounting and secure retention and release/removal of the holster. My primary IWB Holster is a Fierce Defender Paladin Series Kydex rig designed for a Glock 19/23 pistol mounted with the Olight PL Mini Light. The holster came with the conventional polymer belt retention clip which no matter what type of holster I use that type of belt clip with, for me they never securely held the holster in place. I bought one ULTICLIP 3 for Fierce Defender Paladin holster and the other for my custom made Tactical Measure Non-Light Bearing IWB holster. On the latter holster, the ULTICLIP 3 was a perfect fit but on the Fierce Defender Paladin, I first removed the polymer clip from the holster body and removed the RCS claw and mounted the ULTICLIP 3 on the arm where the RCS claw was mounted. This basically allowed the ULTICLIP 3 to ride flush with the width/side of the holster and fit over my nylon belt with ease. The only problem was that the sharp edges of the ULTICLIP 3 protruded over the edges of the RCS claw arm mount and would stick into my pants or body at certain angles which was at times uncomfortable. So I purposely bent the edges inward to avoid any issues. Over time, I decided to get the ULTICLIP SLIM 2.2 and give it a try as it's narrower width and rolled/bent edges were perfect for what I needed to mount on my holster. Turns out it was absolutely perfect for the job and despite it’s small size, the retention is solid for a gun the size and weight of a loaded and light bearing Glock 19. I can’t say good enough things about ULTICLIP, they make a fantastic product of very high quality. They will be part of all my current and future IWB CCW holster needs.

These things are awesome and high quality! I've gotten numerous 2.2 and 3.3s for my sheaths and will always trust Ulticlip for pocket carry on everything! The size of the 2.2 is perfect for pocket carrying a small fixed blade and it fits in a lot of my pockets, on gym shorts and jeans. Easy to use as well, just screw it into your sheath and close the clamp. Very simple and effective. Also very sleek and blends well on a sheath and in your pocket. Very versatile as well, can be used on more than just knives!

This item is great at holding items in my pocket I use it with a small fixed blade. It holds onto fabric very well the only issue is getting it off. I am a man and trying to pry the release flap up is pretty hard (it may need more time to break in) I have to use a small screwdriver or some small prying tool to get it off as I have used my fingers and it's hard to get a solid purchase to pry it up. Used thumbnail and felt as if it was going to rip my nail off. Minus 1 star for that the rest is great.

Well made piece. Great idea for replacing an IWB clip. Holds on your pants waistband behind your belt. Clamps tight, will not release accidently.
